Like smart bombs, only hopefully we won’t kill as many innocent people as our government.

Soooooo..... would this mean Hubby wouldn't be able to shoot the guns I bought for him as presents but are registered under my name?
I sense a flaw in the plan.....

What’s his plan for the over 200 million weapons currently in circulation? These people are just plain stupid.

It is high time we had some ‘smart’, as in intelligent, voters so we could begin to see an influx of ‘smart’, as in intelligent, politicians. Some good, rather than so much evil.

Just because they heard someone say “smartphone” these dumb politicians think there can be a smart gun.
Dear Joe: the problem is not the object. It’s the human holding it. Criminals are not the same as honest, law abiding people or police officers.

No wonder everyone is rushing to buy any kind of gun they can get their hands on.
By the time the Socialist model gun comes on the market, it will weigh at least 10 pounds, be plastered with warning labels, won’t work, and will cost $5000...the money going to a crony of Obama, of course. Only a total idiot would put Obama and Biden in charge of their family’s safety.
To: Olog-hai
It’s a trap.
Two words:
EMP.
Electromagnetic Pulse.
Police are already using it to disable cars (with only spotty success, but its a new technology). Older cars with no sensitive chip technology? Impervious. This could be modelled on “ Cash for Clunkers.” We’ll let you trade in your dangerous old guns for these shiny new “smart” weapons, because then when we come for you we can just turn your weapons off. Neat trick. So the only people buying “smart” guns will be, well, not so smart. To put it politely.
To: Olog-hai
I remember cars with a seat belt interlock. You could not start the car without fastening your seatbelt.
Folks just disconnected the seatbelt interlock system.
To: Olog-hai
let the cops or biden's security detail test the new technology

There have been quite a few cases of family members using their dad’s gun to protect the home.
Wonder how that will work if it is not set up for all family members.
