Somewhere along the line I remember a song about how you can take the kid out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the kid. Guess one could write a song, you can take the kid out of Chicago but you can’t take Chicago out of the kid.
In October of 2008 my warnings went unheeded regarding candidate Barack Obama. All one needed do to see America in four years was to look at Blagojevich’s Illinois. It turned out worse than imagined.
Blagojevich’s Illinois was reeling in corruption, political favoritism, extra constitutional mandates, and unfunded pension liabilities growing exponentially due to quid pro quo union contracts.
Blago was a living example of liberal economic illiteracy when he quadrupled fees on trucking companies not realizing trucks have wheels, and 25,000 jobs were lost overnight. The exodus from Illinois was underway.
After getting caught with something ‘golden’ Blago was impeached, tried, and sent to prison leaving behind a state in financial shambles.
Enter Pat Quinn from Chicago. Another graduate of the Chicago School for Liberal Economic Illiteracy Quinn shoved through the biggest tax increase in Illinois history during a lame duck session.
That was in January 2011 with projected revenues that would solve all Illinois’ money woes with $7 billion in new revenue. By the end of 2011 the tax increased revenue by only $6 billion, and Quinn began his version of austerity measures which of course failed.
To see where Obama is taking America look to Illinois at the end of 2012. Here’s the report card; unfunded pension obligations up, budget deficit up, deficit spending up, unpaid bills to state vendors up, credit downgrade probable, talk of more taxes.
You can expect the same results from the economic illiterate in DC as the economic illiterate in Illinois. Obama’s attack on the wealthy with the cliff tax deal, and new Obamacare taxes will kill jobs too, just on a grander scale.
Obama must have at least one liberal adviser with a calculator because the day after raising taxes over $600 billion on the wealthy Obama was calling for a trillion more in revenue by eliminating deductions for the evil rich who are keeping the economy down.
Liberal hopes were dashed during the just concluded lame duck session in Illinois. While the state is bursting into flames of insolvency citizens were aghast that the lame duckers didn’t move on pension reform, gay marriage, and bans on assault weapons.
However there was one major liberal victory, drivers licenses for illegal immigrants was approved. The state of Illinois has come out of the closet and now publicly endorses criminal behavior. No more hiding in the shadows of the Chicago political backrooms.
Those with an irrational hatred of guns, just like those with an irrational hatred of CO2, oil, profits, corporations, success, and economic freedom, also known as Democrats, need not fear. Gay marriage will be called in the new legislative session, and Attorney General Lisa Madigan has asked for a full court review regarding the Illinois ban on concealed carry that was ruled unconstitutional.
Princess Lisa must have received a royal order from King Michael of the Imperial Republic of Chicago that they must keep law abiding citizens defenseless in their lawless kingdom. After all in 2012 only 536 people were murdered in the city with the strictest gun laws in the land. Evidence to a liberal that gun control works.
If you were wondering where Obama got the hutzpah to consider circumventing congress to violate the Constitution to dictate gun control through executive order after in his first term he granted amnesty to young illegal aliens, extorted $23 billion from a private company, denied Boeing the right to build where they chose, conducted kinetic military overseas operations, ignored bankruptcy law, ignored contempt charges for moratoriums, lied about Benghazi, used an executive order to cover up the truth regarding gun walking, in other words Obama conducting himself as an Imperial President, look no farther than Illinois.
If Illinois portends the future of America, we are in more danger than a conservative appearing on MSNBC.
America’s only hope is that the linguini spined Republicans in DC garner a little hutzpah themselves by learning the lessons of Illinois where there is no firewall to protect from the Chicago way. Hopefully they also learn the lessons of the Illinois Republican Party who couldn’t properly manage a one car funeral.
Step 1 = Illinois
Step 2 = Oakland

Step 6 = Jonestown

The GOP Establishment is so out of touch and the Republican “brand” is so tarnished, it is hard to imagine much of a future for the Republican party. Most Americans view Republicans as a bunch of hypocrites and buffoons. It certainly doesn’t help matters when a Republican senator gets a DUI and doesn’t have the decency to resign and when Senate the Republican leadership doesn’t call for his resignation!!!
The time for a GENUINE, Bible believing conservative party to replace the stinking, rotted, corrupt GOP is now.
Do not underestimate the wealth of federal cash the Ohaha/Chi-mobsters had to rig elections. At one time, conscientious FEC investigators verified money was coming from legal citizens....but Ohaha will not allow investigations. There are billions unaccounted for in Obama's "stimulus" packages .......the Ohaha kingpins had tons of money stashed away for 2012....and beyond.

Mmmmmmm.........that sounds an awful lot like the "People's Temple." Rev Jim Jones promised a "better life, hope and change.....and diversity." Tolerant and compassionate Rev Jim Jones brought lotsa Kool-aid (and cases of cyanide) for the diverse crowd that blindly followed him to a place from which there was no escape.

America has witnessed the consequences of a generation inculcated with moral relativity and situation ethics. The ghost of Saul Alinsky lurks behind M/M Obama, Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, Anita "Mao" Dunn, Valerie whatsherface, and the rest of the Ohaha ilk.
They clearly see themselves as "deconstructionists"----savagely committed to tearing down America's traditions. Every manaical official govt act is dedicated to chipping away at the bulwark of American freedoms. \
The Obamanations are a virulent anti-American plague of religion haters.......vacant, surly Me-First humanoids who worship at The Church of Whatever Works For Me. Cadres of self-absorbed punks squatting in govt are clearly disturbed---obsessed with religious cleansing and kicking so/con Repubs to the curb.
The Ohaha savages duped the citizenry, led us over a multi-trillion dollar deficit cliff, into massive corrupt bailouts, and atrocities like amnesty.
Their motto: "Everything For Us--Nothing For You."
That same generation inculcated with moral relativity and situation ethics has segued into The Entitlement Generation---better known as "Pay Me--I'm a Victim.
We need to remember that the Obamanoids are ruthless predators w/ no empathy for others and no remorse; anti-social psychopaths who recognize no moral boundaries--aggressively going after what they want, irregardless of the consequences to others.
Paraphrasing Saul Alinsky----the author of evil anti-religious satanism......"they do not have a fixed truth -- truth to them is relative and changing..... they are free from the shackles of dogma."
Illinois is rotting from the inside. The RATS in charge caused the problem and now assure us they can fix it.
In the mean time, MORE Rats were elected to the Illinois Senate and House. They now have filibuster\veto proof- majorities.

I think I heard that Illinois is in debt to the tune of about $1T. The reason they’re not making an effort to balance their budget and bend the spending curve down is because they’re counting on “The One” to bail them out -probably by some sort of executive order during his last year in office. If he can pull it off.
That’s no future.
The Illinois state constitution mandates that all government pensions must be paid.
Here are the numbers...
Long term unfunded pension liabilities - $100 billion
2013 Illinois state budget - $28 billion
2013 taxpayer bill for pensions - $7 billion
That's 25% of the state budget.
Only two solutions...
Taxpayers will leave the state.
Or, Obama will bail them out, most likely with an Executive Order.

The problem people are the very same Obama was paid to organize.
There were 500+ murders last year there. More than the combined military war deaths and suicides. Chicago is twice as dangerous than Afghanistan
