President Obama is putting a symbolic twist on a time-honored tradition, taking the oath of office for his second term with his hand placed not on a single Bible, but two -- one owned by Martin Luther King Jr. and one by Abraham Lincoln.

Agree, SkyDancer - probably doesn’t have a real bible of his own anyway. He could swear on all the bibles in the world and it doesn’t mean JACK. Interesting that he would swear on the bibles of two Republicans. He probably thinks they both belonged to the jackass party.

Also, remember he has stopped the national day of prayer but celebrates Ramadan in the White House. And, he says the call to prayer for Muslims is the sweetest sound on earth.
I am a woman and don't have much physical strength at my advanced age - some burly guy needs to remove him from the White House and drop him in Mecca where he will be happy listening to the call to prayer every day. Don't they do that twice a day? Sorry, not up on Muslim call to prayer and not going to look it up.

Good catch. That is what both the owners of those Bibles have in common.
Because 2 Bibles will remove any doubt of Dear Leader’s Christianity and devotion to Christ. At least, that’s what Obamao hopes you’ll believe.
Bibles from 2 Republicans - one who persevered through a war that was dividing a nation based on economics and resulted in freeing the slaves and the other who marched at risk to himself (no secret service) and asked that people be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin.
Just how does Barack Hussein Obama, of questionable citizenship and distributor of working people’s money to the non-working (frequently of color)voting base and political cronies, identify with these two men?
Oh, I know, because they are revered and that’s what he thinks of himself.

Barack Obama says his people should not be left to "fend for themselves," ie., live as responsible, self-sufficient, free citizens and would rather they be housed, clothed, fed and cared for on government plantations (and provided with "free" ObamaPhones).
