Interesting thing I’ve seen comments on over the years. Call U-Haul and price a truck rental if you want to know if people are coming or going from a state. I bet you could rent one dirt cheap for a move *to* Illinois. All their inventory is leaving Illinois.

I remember turning in the U-Haul truck I’d rented in Los Angeles when we first moved to DFW. I got to chatting with the manager about the move, and at one point he informed me that the one way cost of that same truck from Dallas to L.A., was less than half of what I’d just paid. That was seven years ago.

Peoria has become a Little Chicago. Too many Amish migrated south and are wrecking it.

From the article:
The study shows Washington, D.C., the Carolinas, Arkansas, Texas, Oregon and Nevada leading the country with newly inbound residents, and more people moving away from the northeast.
Only problem is, we're having to run reeducation camps here in South Carolina for all the libs moving here. If we don't, we'll turn into New Jersey. Ugh!

Here is an observation if anybody needs the info. Rhis is about 11 miles north of Wasilla, Alaska.
Just down the road from my house is a big laundromat, they also rent Uhaul trucks there, usually there is only a dozen, The last month I am seeing a full lot, maybe two zone or more.
By not being a regular Uhaul dealer its just a small operation. I think we are seeing an immigration trend herein Alaska, and our state wide population has increased about 70,000 from last year. That was announced this morning.
