Shocked journalists this afternoon were quick to react to the Drudge Reports controversial header photo comparing President Obama to Hitler and Stalin. The item linked to a Weekly Standard article reporting that President Obama was willing to address the gun issue with an executive order.
Hitler and Stalin! exclaimed BuzzFeed Editor Ben Smith on Twitter alerting most of his followers by linking directly to the Drudge Report.
Drudge rules our world, responded Slate journalist David Weigel to Smiths post on Twitter, later adding sarcastically, SOMETHING SHOCKING HAS BEEN POSTED ON THE INTERNET.
Our right is nuttier than your right (US to 193 countries), wrote the Al-Monitors Laura Rozen.
The Washington Posts Greg Sargent begged his followers not to talk about or visit the Drudge Report.
Dear everyone: Talking about how Drudges visuals are ruse to get attention = giving Drudge attention, he wrote.
Also, dont link to Drudge link to twitpic, the Washington Posts James Downie added.
Why didnt @Drudge just go all the way and put Obamas photo between Adolph and Josef? asked Michael Rosten, a social media editor for the New York Times.

Oooh. Drudge must have touched a nerve. :)
Um, what the heck does this have to do with the post of the topic?
Drudge always does something right when the whack left gets its panties in a knot!....Keep it up Drudge and thanks!!!
Hello! The half black mulatto boy is a third generation Communist, red diaper baby of a red diaper baby. The big secret of the outraged MSM.
Matt just pulled the curtain back a little to allow others to see what the rest of us already know.
And yet Stalin controled Russia.
Hitler Controlled Germany.
and now Obama is in the process of controlling the United States.
The results are the same.
I missed the shift key for the end bracket. As Steve Martin so eloquently said:
Well, excUUUUuuse ME!

play360-—rings a bell, from years ago, but they had a different name, but building playgrounds was their schtick. I think they were tied into some weird religious cult dealing with the return of the Ascended Master Matria. Real wu-wu stuff.
I was a news director in a small town on the central coast when they came to town trying to ply their game. They were turned away. I tried covering them and it was always a mess of phone numbers and contacts and run around just to get an answer as why they want to build playgrounds using other folks’ money.
Maybe its the same group under a different name, may not....plenty of whack a doodles out there these days.
My mis-typing may have misled you: The Roosevelt Myth was released in 1948, long before the usurper was even born.
The references to the Pres__ent were mine alone in the above post, though many others likely were of similar opinion before I voiced these thoughts.
Back when SNL was actually funny.
Take care.
Actually the community organizer is worse than a communist agitator, because the communist declares his intentions openly, whereas this Chicago community organizer hides his communist intentions and poses as a centrist, and therefore more dangerous. But I understand what you are saying.
I wondered that myself.
Oh, come on.
Blame the liberals all you want, but not every journalist hates America. You want to kill FOX News anchors? Washington Times reporters? Wall Street Journal reporters?
Maybe you think the Founding Fathers should have killed Alexander Hamilton (founder of what is now the New York Post) and Benjamin Franklin (publisher of Poor Richard's Almanack and The Pennsylvania Gazette).
The First Amendment is in the Constitution to allow you and me to criticize Obama and the Democrats. I think that's a pretty important freedom to preserve.
