What Good Can a Handgun Do Against An Army?

He can order his agencies under his Executive branch to do what he wants. He can’t order me legally, and I won’t comply.
And gun owners are considering how big to make the picture of their “fingers” in reply to Joeus Retardus.
Can we recall/remove the President and Vice president for failure to uphold the Constitution? I bet if there was a way to have a vote on it they would be history. I can dream can’t I?
They are betting nobody has the stones to stand up to their dictatorship. So far, they’ve been right.
You are fast! I just heard it on Rush’s show.
What was that famous quote by Dirty Harry?
Why not invite Lon Tomohisa Horiuchi?
Check out the Drudge Report! Drudge must have ate his Wheaties this morning, hes not pulling any punches!!
To be clear, EO’s aren’t a Progressive or Republican problem. EO’s are an equal opportunity contagion. Both parties, all modern presidents, Congress, the Supreme Court, and, yes, We the People are culpable. If we deserve better, we will beget better.
Art I, Sec 1 of the US Constitution concisely and unambiguously provides that all legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress... In sharp contrast, Art II specifically outlines Executive powers and duties, none of which include legislating in any form. And to checkmate an overreaching Chief Executive, Art II also provides for the impeachment and removal of not only the Chief Executive, but of any and all officers comprising the Executive Branch.
The rub: if the law intended to countermand an EO is vetoed by the President, to override that veto requires a 2/3 vote, a super majority, in both chambers of Congress, clearly a politically daunting task indeed. Of course, there is the laborious process of impeachment and removal of the offending President to remedy the executive overreach. But, again, removal would require a 2/3 majority in the Senate, a very unlikely scenario.
Might as well go on and purchase a million more pairs of Jack boots too.
Obama’s orders won’t save one life, it will kill many.
Biden is either a complete and total fool or he has become an Obama tool.Perhaps a little of each.
Obama can write hs Executive Order, but carrying it out in an armed America that KNOWS it is a completely illegal order according to the Constitution will cause problems he has no idea how to deal with.
If Americans fight to kjeep their gun rights they are fighting on the right side of history the right side of America.
That is one Executive Order Obama can shove up his Obama.
Even though I know he’ll do it, I’m still shocked that he would. Funny how that works.
It’s just the lawful part of me that still entertains the notion that the Constitution exists.
If Obama does this then someone is going to blow something up. Somehow I think THAT is his real goal. Gonna get messy.
I have the same resigned, reluctant feeling with this as I do every morning getting out of bed: “well, crap, let’s just get this thing started then...”
I guess we don’t need a Congress to make laws nor a Constitution to delineate our rights, and limit our government.
The result: I’m even coming to believe it will soon be time to revisit the Declaration of Independence.
Left convinced Americans will not fight for 2nd Amendment rights
Dear Mr. Security Agent: A letter to law enforcement
Hopefully, the legal system and courts will prevent unlawful activity by federal agencies. I also hope more Arizona like Sheriffs tell the feds to “go stuff it.”
When the left has successfully avoided real analysis and understanding of an issue by elevating it to an artificial "Crisis" level, centralizing the solutions to the Federal level and then portaying themselves as the only people caring and concerned about the Crisis they have an automatic next move.
That next move is to try and skip legitiment process which in this case might be careful and constitutional legislation and instead, try for executive or judicial fiat. Why have a law when you can claim a crisis and rule by decree?
1. My assumption is they would attempt to use some of the “catch all” language in the end of Title II of the NFA/Gun Control Act.
2. Someone needs to point out there are about 350 deaths per year from long guns, of which, probably 30 or 40 are from rifles with high-capacity magazines.
Hell, they can’t even disarm criminals.
