Vice President Joe Biden, while addressing representatives of gun safety and gun violence victims' groups, says President Obama could use "executive orders" to enact gun control measures.
VICE PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: "The president is going to act. There are executives orders -- executive action that can be taken. We haven't decided what that is yet. But we're compiling it all with the help of the Attorney General and all the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action, we believe is required."

No? Sure we did - private sale - no reciept. None required. I'm from MA so I'm used to a different set of rules....such as Diane Feinstein is pushing for.
Private sales are fine but a firearm needs to be registered. If it isn't, you face 1 year in prison mandatory if found in possession of such. Registration must be transferred from 1 party to the other via form FA-10 which is kept on file with the Firearms Safety Bureau.
All of this crap and soooo much more is thanks to Mitt Romney.

Police? Who do you think is the leading edge of confiscation? The time is nigh for all those skin-headed, bloused booted, heavy badged thugs to make a choice.
Do they support and enforce any "law" that Chicago hood cares to sign, or the Constitution? We are living in historic times.

And that won’t be connected over the ‘net. It’s time we develop a method of comms using old-hat techniques and it’s time to get local...quickly.

"Folks say its time for CW-2..."It's long past time for CW2. The only way we'll get our country back is by using bullets. You can't vote it out because half of this country likes it the way it is and a quarter of it just doesn't give a damn.
Impeach the kenyan or secession.

Hey, doug; I too voted for Romney but reluctantly.
Here’s why: at post #162, I believe in this instance of the 2nd Amendment, Obama v. Romney made little to no difference.
Romney would be just as dedicated a gun-grabber as Obama.

The rhetoric being communicated by this administration, combined now with such reckless statements coming from Biden and other politicians, is setting in motion a dangerous course of action that government was never intended or allowed to complicate under our Constitution. The semi-automatic rifle in any configuration is the same weapon protected by the 2nd amendment as was the musket carried by every citizen, the militia, and the Continental Army when it was ratified. Imagine if at the end of the Revolutionary war the Congress had not ratified the 2nd amendment in the Bill of Rights and attempted to have the Continental Army disarm the citizens. The nation would have ended quickly and or the Army would have disbanded and the States would still be a confederation and not a nation. For the entire history of our nation up through WWII the common American was better armed and more equipped than the standing military when it came to infantry rifles. There is no difference today when you talk about attempting to regulate or confiscate AR-15s or any other type of semi-automatic rifle or ray gun of the future for that matter. So, what was the difference in 1776? It was the people and their faith, and their morals, and their quest for liberty and defense of freedom and defiance of tyranny. We now have a populace that does not understand those values nor share those qualities and wants to regulate every single aspect of our lives from conception to the grave to a large measure in large cities, but not the majority yet across the whole nation.
So now, the autocratic tyrants wish to disarm those of us who will not go quietly into the night as we still believe in and are willing to sacrifice and die to preserve the Constitution and rule of law founded upon in the beginning of America. Back in the beginning it was just a handful, maybe less than 10% that really risked anything to fight the British. What was the difference in 1770? The civilian population made a stand and organized starting from Concord and Lexington and gave the fledgling Congress time to organize an army. This stopped the British from disarming the people and gave time to organize a standing army. So if a tyrannical government in 2013 without first amending the Constitution to abolish the 2nd amendment, and doing so without States consent, attempts to defy our laws and confiscate weapons, what are the citizens to do?
The answer is to organize as we did in in 1770. To band together with a pledge to stand together or hang alone. In 2013 this would require gun friendly states to pass legislation preventing the federal government from taking civilian semi-auto rifles. In these states you could set up organizations for civilians to join as likeminded individuals with pledges to come to the aid of anyone the federal government attempted to disarm. Some states have anti militia laws attempting to prevent free men from banding together. You could form groups that share contact information that link up communication with other groups that pledge to up hold and defend the Constitution and to come to the aid of anyone threatened by confiscation. There are peaceful ways to set up and organize without breaking existing state laws banning militias in order to defend the ownership of arms protected by the 2nd amendment. It is time for our own rhetoric to be heard.

Does anyone think that this was a test to see where the noise would come from? Test a balloon like this, and then adjust your plan accordingly.
Obama may be a Kenyan. But is no fool.

He could shut down the instant check and make it a mail in check. And then cut the staff.
He could do a lot to drag this out.
He could revoke or not renew any FFL.
There is a lot he could do.

This morning I googled treason and high treason, for a clear definition of each. Very interesting reading. If anyone lost their life owing to the treason it could than be High treason.
Not that the ruling class could be hung deader. I'm just sayin'...

CCWs in Ga don’t need NICS
As for an FFL, personally I don’t want one because it gives the ATF right to inspect the premises/books IIRC.
But you are right. There is a lot. The main thing is to
Ignore outright turn in orders though.

Im sitting here stunned. Do people actually understand what is happening
Oh, I do- believe me, I do. And the sad thing is, apparently the majority wanted this and will go along with it. Just as long as the goodies keep coming and their ‘enemies’- (that would be us) are destroyed. they just want to live like slaves in a safe little utopia.
