Investigators puzzled by why Sandy Hook gunman Adam Lanza wore earplugs during the massacre if he knew he was going to kill himself. Separately, evidence shows Lanza reloaded his weapon before the magazines were spent, leading to questions about whether he was influenced by the first-person shooter games he spent hours playing.

I've been working with Autistic children for more than 16 years now. I have never come across a case, either personally, or through any reports by others, of a person with Autism engaging in violence of this nature. The media have done a huge disservice to people with Autism by their early reporting regarding this killer having this disorder.
I agree, but the Feds said it was an AR 15, watch the video link I posted.
Why, given a large volume of evidence of distortions and outright lies told by media persons, without any evidence whatsoever to back up their claims, would anyone assume either the witnesses lied or the authorities lied? Why can’t it be that the media made up “facts” and reported what helped their agenda?
I watched the whole thing unfold. Witnesses on camera saying multiple shooters. Heard a witness say it was pistols. Media was reckless as well, but the official story doesn’t even come close to matching what those inside saw.
In this story, Fox reports the ATF confirms it:

Here ABC reports the same:
Here a group of 4 alleged friends are interviewed...and one alludes to the subject:
This very negative and sensationalist story has a direct quote from mom’s landscaper, with the claim:

There are alot of unanswered questions about this....but I think its fairly ‘settled’ that he went to the range with his mom.
I agree, but medications can alter people.. To this extent I can’t imagine but if Adam was on a ‘risky’ medication the pharmaceutical company is vulnerable.. I wonder how much $$$ they’re paying out to keep it quiet? Possibly ‘fanapt’?
I don't belive that for a minute. It may be the story after they got their notes togethe but I don't think it's the truth.
How can the feds identify the weapon in the trunk as an AR 15 then the cops story is that it's a shot gun?
Just doesn't add up in my book.
BTW, here's the coroners video clip, he's a freakin joke.
Seems to me that it isn't my IQ which needs to be questioned here. Next time do some actual research before putting your foot in your mouth.
Because she was told it isn't a mental illness but a medical condition to be corrected by medication?
Yes, they can. I’ve already debated the risks of SSRIs prescriptions for minors, and I think it’s a reasonable proposition to ask that studies be done for such concerns.
However, SSRIs are just one class of drugs, and people here tend to conflate them with anti-psychotics which are used for people who are schizophrenic, which is apples and oranges.
One of the things reported early on in the massive confusion was that the cops were looking for a maroon car with a shot out window. The shot up cars in the lot might be the source of that.
Not necessarily so. I've been through training in live-fire houses and similar exercises. I learned to change magazines before entering another room or proceeding around an obstacle, even though the magazine wasn't empty. If you expect another engagement soon, take advantage of a lull in the shooting to reload.
You’re right...his brother made the statement...and the police will not confirm or deny it.
But his brother still made the statement...its all we have to go on.
I repeated another user’s observation that people with Autism sometimes don’t like loud noises.
I don’t remember equating Autism with his actions.
Adam Lanza’s father has repeatedly stated his son was on the Autism scale.
Try the DU. It’s for thin-skinned people.
What meds? I’ll be back with a link...
“I dont remember equating Autism with his actions.”
Nor I, but said poster attacked me for daring note that this pyscho -— in addition to being a pyscho -— was autistic.
Apparently, autistic people can’t do anything wrong.
I also remember a shot of Lanza's mother's car being towed away and the license plate was captured.
Turns out that plate is registered to a California man by the name of Christopher Rodia....true, I don't know.
We’re never going to know the real details of this one.
