Adam Lanza's older brother was reported by the media to have stated Adam Lanza was Autistic. However, there has been NO verification for any such diagnosis, and all mention of Autism with respect to Adam Lanza has disappeared in media reporting.

I've been working with Autistic children for more than 16 years now. I have never come across a case, either personally, or through any reports by others, of a person with Autism engaging in violence of this nature. The media have done a huge disservice to people with Autism by their early reporting regarding this killer having this disorder.

You’re right...his brother made the statement...and the police will not confirm or deny it.

But his brother still made the statement...its all we have to go on.

I repeated another user’s observation that people with Autism sometimes don’t like loud noises.

I don’t remember equating Autism with his actions.
