Investigators puzzled by why Sandy Hook gunman Adam Lanza wore earplugs during the massacre if he knew he was going to kill himself. Separately, evidence shows Lanza reloaded his weapon before the magazines were spent, leading to questions about whether he was influenced by the first-person shooter games he spent hours playing.

Dallas, how have you been???
I haven’t seen you on my screen for awhile.
The ME says the victims were shot with the .223
i must have missed that do you have a source other than “long gun”?
I was 16 year old when I went to camp and manned a turret of Quad 50 cals, no plugs or muffs available in 1955. Then over to the twin 40's, went on all day long.

Lucky you. She’s a liar who owes me an apology.
No -- that would be you who's the liar and owes us all an apology.
Thanks all. Goodnight. It was a blast.[Post #232]
Are you a mind reader????
>>Are you a mind reader????<<
Yeah... but it looks like you get half off.
When the ME was directly asked, Were they shot with the rifle? The ME answered YES.
A shot gun is not a rifle, a pistol is not a rifle, a long gun is a rifle. Only one rifle was recovered at the scene.
Shot guns are also not typically referred to as a long gun.
I don’t know why this is so hard for some to understand.
“its fairly settled that he went to the range with his mom.”
No, it’s not. ATF and a landscaper are not to be believed. As for the alleged ‘friends,’ someone could have been 6 or 8 years old when taught.
The records of a range would demonstrate whether this ‘going to the range’ was a true statement.
I don’t believe anything about this story. It’s too bloody ‘perfect’ for the Democrat-communists, as if it were off-the-shelf.
meaning what????
shot guns are commonly referred to as long guns
initial report only said long gun not rifle
me refused to state caliber he did only 7 autopsies
when one uses analytical open minded thinking the holes in the story clearly raise questions why doesnt pd clear them up?

In the original ME interview the ME was directly asked, were they shot with the rifle. Answer, YES.
Only one rifle was recovered.
This is logic.
“why would MOM think someone with a mental illness should be playing those games when those are the people who would be influenced the most?”
I tought all my kids to shoot when they were preteens. One of them had some problems when they were a teen, I had some second thoughts about it at that time but they got better and the firearms training turned out not to be a mistake.
I would bet that the reporter has his info wrong, but who can tell at this point?
This line in the Courant article is odd if only the AR-15 was used in the school. Matching casings to magazines? You’d only do that if different weapons and calibers were used.
“More than a week after the shooting, investigators were still finding bullets under doors and in carpets and walls in the school as they tried to match the casings to the magazines.”
The Courant article also says the shotgun could fire 20 rounds.
But again, we are relying on reporters who generally can’t tell a Glock from a Chief’s Special...
Thanks, now I need to figure out what DTW is lol!
Ah, found it. Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport
That’s the one.
When the 'very bad side effect' is mass murder of children the bar is higher... Banning these drugs for young people must be considered. Most of these drugs do very limited good - something worth remembering.
I'm not calling for a total ban... but something close.
Mornin!
