And Mom would NEVER think about taking sugar from the cupboard and sprinkling it on Little Johnnie’s cereal after he complained it wasn’t sweet enough. Loons, all.

Ironic since cereals were created as a health food.

Soon, cameras in every kitchen (UK already has cameras in almost 100% of urban outdoors).

Next, electronic scales and probes: you’ll have to register each meal with The State before serving.

And S.F. and N.Y. are slapping their foreheads saying “why didn’t WE think of this?”

I thought I read sometime back that cereal companies were going to start making cereals with less sugar voluntarily. I wouldn’t mind if this were to be the case.

Ahhhh, nothing like the gubmit being the parent instead of the parent being the parent.

What a wonderful new world we live in.

All this crap was available to us as youngsters but NOOOO, we had to have Cheerios and Corn Flakes!

Seems to me the Soviet Union got this perfect. Their subjects were limited to a fixed amount of sugar per month. This is total freedom! They could sprinkle all their sugar on their morning cereals, or, choose to make cakes, or choose to... etc.

Make no doubt, this is where the left is going.... and soon!

Unfortunately, most cereals are using HFCS and not sugar. Sugar is NOT the problem - HFCS is. I can state this with absolute certainty.

I dropped 122 lbs in 6 mos. following 5 simple rules: NO HFCS - none, not in anything I consume, NO hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils, I drink 100 oz of water daily, No enriched or processed grains, and eating 50% of my daily calories as protein - real fats are good for you.

When I’m in a cereal mood, sometimes I’ll take just raw oats and raisins, sometimes walnuts or chopped dates, and just add milk and no sugar...the raisins or dates make it plenty sweet. Delicious.

However...If I eat a Jethro Bodeen size bowl of raw oats, I find out quickly why horses fart so much. So Bee-ware.

Actually, with all the socialist European governments sliding into depression, I think that obesity problem will take care of itself when the economy crashes. In fact, those fat children will have a few more days of life compared to the ultra thin ones.

I just watched a documentary called forks over knives.

Very interesting about how diet can impact our health.

No meat, no dairy, no refined sugar. They are government conglomerates now, pressuring the public to consume their products.

I’m gonna try it, see how it feels.
