We need to take off and nuke the site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure...

There is a pattern of hope given for a counter to the corruption....drama till the last minute, just barely makes it through to continue on same path.
Obamacare/Scott brown...supreme court ruling ,Issa subpoena power, getting rid of Holder, debt limit...
MSM,government theater..bs

How did that happen? I thought it was an emergency morale boost, sort of the political equivalent of a needle full of adrenaline straight to the heart of a flatlining cardiac patient.

If it comes to that, the fedgov will have to deal with recalcitrant states. I don’t think Texas will take too kindly to the fedgov nullifying Art. 1, Sec. 23 of the Texas Constitution.
STATES’ RIGHTS ARE THE ANSWER.

I know.
Just venting.
It’s getting to point where I’d rather play video games than involve myself in this crap.
I spent thousands of dollars on candidates last year and I’d like to some results.
Oh well. Made plenty of bad investments before. Just want to stay ahead of them.
Time to do my impersonation of Sysiphus.

I wonder who the other brave Rep who voted for West was. I saw on another thread that West had 2 votes. At least his name was put forward. God bless Rep. Gohmert...I love that guy.

Eric Cantor on Facebook: "It is an honor to serve with Speaker John Boehner. I look forward to continue working with my friend to help all Americans."
The replies are trashing him and Boehner big time. So far about 685 of them, about 3 are mine

True change will only come from primaries. I have stayed in the Republican Party for that very reason. Any financial support should go to those candidates wanting to unseat the GOPe. The RNC can be damned as far as I am concerned.
We will all die waiting for the change to come from the top. It ain’t gonna happen.

Giving all the support to the Tea Party would be my first choice. Then again, I see Michele Bachmann voted for Boehner, so I don’t know what the hell is going on.

I am neither R or D, I am conservative and have no party. I usually vote for pubs because the rats are socialist through and through. We need a true conservative party, now!
We can't be any worse off than we are now with the pubbies; just red headed step children to them. (nothing against red heads)

Looks like Lindsey Graham will be the 2016 Presidential candidate, who will be picked to lose against Michelle Obama.

How would we get a new speaker when no one ran for the job?
Boehner was vulnerable...nobody was willing to throw their hat in the ring.

Jane Long, where did you get the list of names and votes? Is there a list of all who voted and who they voted for?
We have to get a hold of those Conservative politicians who voted FOR boner and grill them to justify their vote...we need to know who is a real Conservative and who isn’t.
