The following letter, written by U.S. Marine Joshua Boston and headlined No maam., was posted in the CNN iReport on Dec. 27 with the included note from the producer and photo. It has struck a nerve with many and is being circulated around social media venues like Twitter and Facebook.
Senator Dianne Feinstein,
I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the governments right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You maam have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.
I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.
I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man.
I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.
We, the people, deserve better than you.
Respectfully Submitted,
Joshua Boston

The libs know that they are outnumbered, yet they attempt to hoodwink Americans into thinking that they are the majority.
We the people DO deserve better than her. Great letter.

Someone mentioned that the majority of us don't want to be the first to martyr for the cause. But what happens when it's our friends, family, neighbors?
I got this letter emailed to my twice today. I wonder what the government’s response would be if a few million or so wrote a similar letter.
Short and to the point.
The letter is well put ! I am sure when she sees it, I am sure some form of reprisal will go to this former Marine’s direction.
That’s pretty much how most Americans feel. She is in trouble if she thinks she can pull this off. Let her try. It will be her undoing!
I’m “out in the country” and you should have heard all the gunfire last night at midnight.
It was music to my ears.
Excellent letter, short and to the point.
God bless this Marine. Unfortunately for him, one call from the White Hut and all his VA benefits will disappear down the memory hole.
nice!
It’s almost like Feinswine wants to help out the NRA with its fundraising. She leaks a bill that has zero chance of getting even 20 votes in the Democrat Senate and some people actually believe her pipe dream might become law. Weird. But hey, okay by me. I want the NRA as flush as possible.
Feinstein’s probable reaction:
“I’m a Senator! A SENATOR! Dammmit! I am not a ma’am!
I’m a Senator! [doing her best Herman Munster jumping-up-and-down impression]
A SENATOR!
A SENATOR!
A SENATOR!”
Of all the armed services, the Marines command the most respect from me.
This Marine exemplifies what is right with them.
Not to spoil your fun, but that was Barbara Boxer.
Thank GOD for honorable young American men like this
My late husband bought me a pistol and showed me how to use it after our house was broken into several times.
Years later we were having a fight over building a bathroom in the corner of a large room. I wanted to go the Home Depot and measure the size of shower and bath enclosure, a toilet, sink and water heater and then draw a plan. He wanted to just start cutting 2 x 4s and throwing up walls. Finally he screamed at me, “I didn’t climb up and down those ugly brown hills in Korea to have some woman tell me what to do.” At that moment I realized that I was the enemy, which also explained a lot that had not been going well in the marriage.
Now I read this letter where the Marine says, “I will not have some woman who”. If he ever gets married, I hope he does not destroy his marriage because of his attitude toward women.
