Last year, in 2011, we started reducing the deficit through $1 trillion in spending cuts. Those have already taken place. The agreement being worked on right now would further reduce the deficit by asking the wealthiest 2 percent of Americans to pay higher taxes for the first time in two decades.

These people think a 7% increase is a draconian cut
Let me guess, the spending cut is really a reduction in the planned increase in fiscal year 2525. Or else he is counting his fictional Obamacare savings yet again.
Frickin’ liar! He needs to be countered! GOPs need to get in there and counter these gawd-awful lies!! Otherwise, the lamestream will pick it up and go with it, and that will become the “truth.” Shout this down guys! Shout it down!!
GOP needs to boycott State of the Union speech, or walk out
in protest in the middle.
Hey - you talkin about my wife?
BULLSHIT!*
Spending cuts which are phantom planned increases that were never applied but simply cancelled, ARE NOT CUTS!
Playing that game the arrogant, delusional, criminal scam artist can arrange to make 100% or 200% cuts every budget cycle, and the insane can actually believe that they are real cuts!
Both the liar and the honest man must have regard for truth, the former to subvert it and the latter to propagate it. Bullshit, by contrast, is fundamentally unconcerned with truth or falsehood, but only with appearance, effect and persuasion, however transitory. Yuri Luzhkov was not accusing the Moscow weather forecasters of lying, or yet of trying to predict the weather and honestly failing; he was accusing them of not caring about the true weather. The essence of bullshit is getting away with it, with persuading listeners or readers of a sincerity that is, by definition, phoney. The bullshit artist simply does not care about truth: He pays no attention to it at all, writes Professor Frankfurt. By virtue of this, bullshit is a greater enemy of truth than lies are.
LOL!
That reminds me of a similar story I heard today...
Explaining the debt ceiling so even a sub80 IQ liberal can understand it.
"Let's say that you come home from work and find that there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood, and your home has sewage all the way up to the ceiling.
What should you do?
Raise the ceiling?
...or remove the crap?"
