President Obama on Sunday said he would make gun control a priority in his new term, pledging to put his “full weight” behind passing new restrictions on firearms in 2013.
“I'm going to be putting forward a package and I'm going to be putting my full weight behind it,” said Obama in an interview aired on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “I'm going to be making an argument to the American people about why this is important and why we have to do everything we can to make sure that something like what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary does not happen again.”

It's always easier to put more restrictions on the law-abiding. It also leaves the law-abiding at the mercy of the criminals. That, coupled with easy sentencing and early release, is part of the redistribution process.

He will have to do it via executive order. No gun control measure will pass the House.
Someone should ask her why she didn’t do this when senate and house side of congress was rat controlled from 08-10 .

I do appreciate wanting the most conservative candidate, but the time to fight for that is during the nomination process, not during the election. Your way of thinking got us an unaccountable Obama and a democrat-majority Senate.
The Dems are now in position to do everything conservatives fear they would do, and we can’t stop them.

I am think the Dems were too busy stealing trillions of dollars from the American taxpayer to put much thought into any legislative priorities.

I’m not complaint about you wanting conservative purity. I am only pointing out how your 1 vote effectively contributed to re-electing Obama and a Senate majority.

I don’t think you understand how the electoral college works.
I’m in a blue state where RINOmney lost by millions of votes. My vote made no difference. If I as in a red state that RINOmney won by millions of votes, my vote would have made no difference. If I was in a purple state, I still would not have voted for RINOmney. There wasn’t a single state out of all 57 where either candidate won by 1 vote. None.
You are either misunderstanding the electoral college or its some other misunderstanding of our system.
