Here's your choice: Fight or die

Exclusive: Phil Elmore insists gun-hating liberals 'want to murder you'

The war has begun.

The cultural war, the roiling but barely concealed “cold” war in which you have been enmeshed for years, has exploded into a full-fledged conflict. Where once the libs, the leftists, the Democrats in the United States were content to try to marginalize you – to define you through flawed “studies” and junk “science” as stupid, as uninformed, as less compassionate, as inferior – they are no longer satisfied with this cowardly tactic. Where once the major news media at least went through the motions of concealing their advocacy for lib candidates and “progressive” policies, they now proclaim their naked, brazen favor for them. Where once there were enough Americans to counter-balance the useless eaters, the “low-information voters,” the unemployed, disengaged flotsam of humanity who vote for “free stuff” from Uncle Sugar Barack, we have now reached a tipping point.

We’re outnumbered, and they know it.

It has always been the case that the shortest interval of time yet calculated by science is the time it takes a liberal to exploit a murder. Specifically, every time a shooting takes place in this country, liberal politicians trample whomever gets in their way as they race to the nearest television camera. Their goal: to punish everyone who did not do it. Being a liberal means blaming crime on inanimate objects – guns – while remaining steadfastly convinced that further constraining and forbidding firearms to law-abiding citizens will somehow magically prevent crime.

Liberals assert this while simultaneously admitting that the laws they propose will do nothing of the kind. They are obsessed with reconfiguring the physical world such that evil people will want to do harm to others, but simply won’t be able to. This is quite impossible, but achieving

I think you’re wrong. Ruby Ridge, Waco, etc.

All single point targets.

Even as it was, several armed men were intercepted by the FBI coming to the aid of Randy Weaver at Ruby Ridge. When the government can deploy five hundred agents against a single dwelling, such interceptions are easy. When the government can't deploy five hundred agents against every target...not so much.

I wish I had your confidence, not as though your scenario is all that great. Where were all these Sons of Liberty during Ruby Ridge or Waco? Oh, those guys were a one off situation, and they were molesting kids. That’s what they’re going to say about us too. Or we were cheating on our taxes, or cooking meth. Whatever they want to say.

I think it’s probably too late to resist. I think it’s physically possible. There are certainly enough of us. But I have plans, a life, a future. If they come for your guns, and kill you, I’d jump however high they wanted so I could live to see my grandkids. However, if there was an organized effort, lead by non-McVeigh types, I’d be in.

“wouldn't be the first ...living under tyranny.” Yep.
I suggest the steps will be: 1) Federal registration of all firearms including airguns and ammunition required of all owners eliminating the grandfather clause. 2) Making failure to do so a felony. 3) Public records of the aforementioned available for free on the Internet - like the DMV today. 4) Compensation to whistleblowers to report on friends etc. who have not complied, and 5) Then using current GPS technology, the ability to cordon off a neighborhood, and go house to house to make sure each registrant and their weapon(s) are in compliance re description, serial number etc. During the visit, there will be a ‘finding’ of an error and the weapons will confiscated, just like in a nonviolent drug raid where they take not only the drugs, but the cash, watches, guns, and automobiles of the suspect. All but the furniture bolted to the floor.

One of the ironies of Feinstein's efforts is that a firearm launched her political career. When Dan White killed San Francisco's Mayor Moscone and first openly gay Supervisor, Harvey Milk, it was Supervisor Feinstein who was chosen to succeed Moscone.

Man, I love your zeal. That certainly is where all this is heading. Voting and saying the right things on FR hasn’t changed anything. I’m not very old but old enough to see how our side operates. There’s been quite enough go on that should have caused action.

And they never fired a shot. We’re all going to be single point targets.

I’m free from the burden of sin. No government chains can change that.

What if I were to write, “Yeah, they can tale our lives, but they’ll never take our FREEDOM!” “Out of my cold dead hands....” Would that change a thing? I’d be dead and the erosion of liberty would continue, and my family would have to negotiate this life without me.

“no cell phones, internet, or GPS”

There may or may not be cell phones — don’t “the authorities” (at least the non-federals) rely on the same infrastructure as do civilians?

Internet — again, if they try to shut this down, won’t they be shutting it down for non-federal governmental authorities as well?

GPS — since these are based on satellites, again, don’t the feds rely on the same satellites? (perhaps feds have a second, separate, secure network of their own satellites, not connected in any way to commercial GPS)...

Inquiring minds want to know.

It’s not zeal. It’s a calm, dispassionate estimation of the forces available to the government to implement an intolerable policy.

Note what ten armed, determined terrorists did to Mumbai.

I disagree that “there’s been quite enough to go on that should have caused action.” As the Declaration of Independence states “all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”

But you will note, Lexington and Concord was kicked off when the British took steps to disarm the Colonists.

Government taking our means of deposing a despotic government is the line in the sand that can not be allowed to be crossed. The Colonists knew it, and every American worthy of the name knows it.

Yes but they also have mack daddy radio comms and sat cells.

I’ll surmise that the feds (states cannot afford it) have their own subnet.

Feds do have their own GPS sats. The loss will come from cutting the internet and power to Garmin, Delorme, and Google etc... servers.

Unless you have a generator store bought batteries will be depleted in less than a week then how do you charge?

Are you more crafty than Peter or Paul? They conflicted with the government, even unto death, and that was without armed rebellion.

What you don't seem to understand is political freedom is very like freedom from sin. It is the freedom to NOT do that which is offensive to God.

If being "free from the burden of sin" is so easy, why did Peter and Paul oppose "the powers that be" unto death?

You need to go to Battery1234.com to see how you can keep your devices charged when the power is cut.

One marine battery will charge a smartphone thousands of times.

Peter and Paul are bad examples for making your case. They wrote extensively about obeying civil government. The government they were writing about was much more evil than even the wildest aspirations of our government.

I hope I’d die in the same way Peter and Paul died, defending the faith. I hope I’d die as Stephen died. I don’t think being killed by SWAT for not giving up my guns is the same thing. I actually don’t have any guns (boating accident).

“They don’t have enough resources to go “all at once,” and if they come in waves they’ll get picked off by those further down the list.
Anyone with the slightest tactical awareness knows this.”

From the viewpoint of the totalitarians, you don’t attempt to “come in waves”. You make a few examples first.

I would expect one of the first “examples” in confiscation to resemble something akin to the Little Rock school desegregation back in the 1950’s — i.e., government troops in full force at a specific location.

For the guns, the feds will select a southern city somewhere, but not a large one. Then they’ll appear in force with carefully chosen cadres of soldiers. The units will be “pre-filtered” so that none of the troops will be “from the south”, and many of them will be composed of (ahem…) “his people”. They will secure the local and regional gunshops first, so that they have access to sales records. With that info available to them, they’ll start “working the lists” and go house-to-house. Whatever force they are met with, they’ll respond with superior force. If they have to resort to a few “Wacos” or “Move-Ons”, well, so be it.

And they’ll be sure that the sycophant media is everywhere they are, with the video cameras on.

The examples will be made — enough of them so that every gun owner will understand what results are assured if they choose to resist at a personal level.

If it gets that far, “individual resistance” is going to become a very futile act — the equivalent of monks resorting to self-immolation. The only effective resistance will be group action, and even small groups of civilian resistors may make little impact. By that point, perhaps what will be needed is the action of entire states, supported by the legislatures of those states along with the National Guard units of those states acting under the authority of the governors.

Some will reply, “nonsense, won’t happen”. But the nation is clearly dividing, just as it did in 1861. What did Mr. Lincoln say about a “house divided”?
