“no cell phones, internet, or GPS”

There may or may not be cell phones — don’t “the authorities” (at least the non-federals) rely on the same infrastructure as do civilians?

Internet — again, if they try to shut this down, won’t they be shutting it down for non-federal governmental authorities as well?

GPS — since these are based on satellites, again, don’t the feds rely on the same satellites? (perhaps feds have a second, separate, secure network of their own satellites, not connected in any way to commercial GPS)...

Inquiring minds want to know.

Yes but they also have mack daddy radio comms and sat cells.

I’ll surmise that the feds (states cannot afford it) have their own subnet.

Feds do have their own GPS sats. The loss will come from cutting the internet and power to Garmin, Delorme, and Google etc... servers.

Unless you have a generator store bought batteries will be depleted in less than a week then how do you charge?
