Facebook bans Gandhi quote as part of revisionist history purge

(NaturalNews) The reports are absolutely true. Facebook suspended the Natural News account earlier today after we posted an historical quote from Mohandas Gandhi. The quote reads:
"Among the many misdeeds of British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest." - Mohandas Gandhi, an Autobiography, page 446.
This historical quote was apparently too much for Facebook's censors to bear. They suspended our account and gave us a "final warning" that one more violation of their so-called "community guidelines" would result in our account being permanently deactivated.
They then demanded we send them a color copy of a "government issued identification" in order to reactivate our account. Our account was removed from suspension just minutes before InfoWars posted its article on this Facebook censorship, and the Facebook page is now functioning

I want you to fight Nazism without arms, or, if I am to retain the military terminology, with non-violent arms. I would like you to lay down the arms you have as being useless for saving you or humanity. You will invite Herr Hitler and Signor Mussolini to take what they want of the countries you call your possessions. Let them take possession of your beautiful island, with your many beautiful buildings. You will give all these, but neither your souls, nor your minds. If these gentlemen choose to occupy your homes, you will vacate them. If they do not give you free passage out, you will allow yourself, man, woman and child, to be slaughtered, but you will refuse to owe allegiance to them.
LOL You can practically see the rainbows oozing out of his skinny ass.

Maybe it’d be fun to write about all the neat stuff you bought like a Lear jet or something. Diamonds? Tag Heur watches. Really expensive stuff. See what comes back.

I shut down my limited acct as soon as I discovered how truly sick and demented Facebook is. Tried to warn my pals... nobody cares which is what zucky was banking on.
It’s all about ego v. the constitution! I don’t need any more friends, thank you very much.

There are a lot of serious misquotes on Gandhi out there.
Indeed there are, as with many quotes for any historical figure.
Disputed lines such as:
"An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind."
...Or... "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."

1940 was a little early for anyone to have been aware of the evils happening in Hitler’s NAZI Germany. Even in the U.S. most sentiment was to stay out of Europe’s latest war.

If they do not give you free passage out, you will allow yourself, man, woman and child, to be slaughtered, but you will refuse to owe allegiance to them. Boy, was that a stupid thing for Ghandi to say, in retrospect. If Hitler had won, he would have slaughtered half the human race without a hint of remorse, if the notion struck him.

I guess I’m lucky FB didn’t suspend my account. I posted that exact quote in a comment on the Natural News page the day before Mike Adams posted it.

Gandhi was no Christ figure. He had a lot of problems. He set up a lot of future wars, that I don’t believe he intended but..
He was not a religious figure and should not be made so.
To: Hardastarboard
If the Brits had not been so worn down from two world wars, India would never had gained it’s independence.

I spent some time looking at their terms and conditions, “community standards”, and the like. I could see no reason for their actions. Is the client a “sponsored story”?

YES! This is why books are so precious. If you have non-PC books in your possession, KEEP them.
