But you would concede that, as good as an idea as you think this is, it may not work. Because there have been cases where armed guards have not prevented this kind of massacre, this kind of carnage. I want you would concede that point, wouldn't you?

That's my stock answer to any hare-brained leftist proposing one of his or her hare-brained schemes. If it's such a great idea, they should be doing it, too! In fact, they need to set the example.
I will go one further. Since the person ELECTED, not appointed/annointed/ascended to the chair, is no longer in the office of President, once voted out of office, and is therefore considered ineffectual, has no need for Life-long Secret Service protection, as would a king.
Abolish after-Office Secret Service of just plain Americans, who were Presidents at one time in their life.

When the local and state cops, the FBI, the ATF and other Federal thugs no longer carry guns, then we can talk about gun control amongst the populace.
