Capitol Hill reporters on Twitter writing Speaker Boehner has dropped Plan B fiscal cliff vote tongiht after revolt from House Republican caucus. House will recess until after Christmas.
After raucus closed dooor House GOP meeting, Boehner says House has already passed bills to cut spending and taxes to avert fiscal cliff and the ball is the court of the Senate and President Obama.
Oops many apologies ... and Merry Christmas
Well it is 12/21/12 tommorrow or Mayan End of the World Day, hopefully Boehner no longer speaker day. Good result, Republicans still have not voted to raise taxes. Should support a tax cut for everyone under $250,000 and keep rates where they are at for over $250,000.

That’s the problem with my Rep as well - Tom Price of Georgia. He no longer votes for his constituents, and instead votes however Boehner votes. His August 2011 vote to increase the debt ceiling was the last straw. He is now dead to me. Conservatives don’t vote for debt ceiling increases. And conservatives definitely don’t vote to fund Obamacare. But Tom Price does.
Next up, let’s see the lobbyists force an increase in consumption of EVERYTHING, not just the fascist bag holders of counterfeit MBS papers, who call themselves “insurers” and “bankers” shoving down Extortion-Care and govt. MB buying, to bail themselves out, at everyone elses expense.
Yep, interesting when you poke, who squacks.
That's wisdom handed down from the ages.

oh whatever.
you have misread everything JRandom said.
How about “this economy sux so bad I don’t even earn a profit on which I would pay taxes. If you’re earning a profit, consider yourself lucky in this economy”.
did you get it?
if gop=dem then delete else gop
Quit whining. I work and pay taxes. That does NOT make me evil.
The one’s who started firing are the ones who believe only certain types should be given special committee seats. Hopefully those traitors will see that all the arm twisting in the world won’t make conservatives sell out their constituents.
But the stupid party will continue to find ways to give the dems control because that is what the RINOs really want.
"This bill would have covered the most vulnerable...99.8% of taxpayers. Some millionaires may be on the edge..."
I've always wanted to ask: Is it easy to type on a keyboard when you're wearing a Guy Fawkes mask?...
=== freeper just told me in a comment that I am lucky-to make enough to pay taxes and should welcome a tax increase.===
I don’t think he used this verbiage - but it does indicate your misunderstanding.
You should welcome a profit, not a tax increase.
Or do you employ people, and sign their pay check?
Because one is easy and one is hard. And neither pays well when the economy turns to crap soup.

Quit whining? LOL!
You screwed up and I point it out so now I’m whining? How old are you?
Who says you’re evil anyway? BTW I work and that does not make be bald!
Look I have no idea what you two are whining about.
I work and pay taxes, is that a crime now?
is this DU?
All I said in post #5 is that you should be thankful for it.
It doesn't always work out that way. I spent most of last year with zero income.
And still had the bills to pay, need for a roof over the head, and all that mundane stuff.
I'm happy when someone does well. Heck, I'm happy when I do well.
This is a dry season for me right now, and all I can do is be glad someone else is doing well.
Of course, the house and property here are free and clear, besides local taxes.
So I don't actually have to have income except for that eating thing, and I do garden and put stuff aside.
Are you nervous about January?

Let’s go over the cliff, then we’ll actually some real spending cuts. The Democrats were never sincere about doing anything, so enough of this political gamesmanship.
Point the finger back at Obama when the low-information voters see less money in their paychecks...
