F’ing hypocrites. They should just stop selling all firearm related stuff if they’re so concerned. See how long they’ll last. I hope this drives them out of business.
To: mnehring
I was just over there, yep, looks like they bit the pillow.

Was CTD selling guns to people without transferring them through licensed gun dealers who perform the FBI background check?
They're acting guilty, so they must have done something illegal.

Their website is SLOW! I have to imagine they’re getting bombarded there too.
Some of the best deals on ammo and parts are on their site. I’ve never purchased firearms from them, but if they cave on arms, they’ll cave when the libs come blasting them over magazines, etc.

No. Buying a weapon through CTD was the same as buying a weapon from a gun shop. You had to have the weapon shipped to an FFL vendor who supplied his license before it shipped. It was then up to the FFL transferor to make sure the purchase proceeded just like in a gun shop.

Doesn’t make a lot of sense since they still have to ship their guns to local FFLs.
To: mnehring
Just sent them an email bidding adios if they choose to NOT support the 2nd amendment. Sometimes you have to be ready for the backlash. Not sure how much of their business was dependent on firearms sales in any case. Don’t think they’ve been doing firearms for that long.
Share the lead.

Hmm, I ordered ammo from them on Sunday and got an email this morning it has been shipped.
I’ve been in their Fort Worth store and it is enormous. Hard to believe they bowed down to Hussein and quit selling guns on line. If you bought one on line, you had to pick it up at a gun store that would check you out on their FBI connection, complete that paperwork.
Maybe people think you buy it on line and they send it through the mail directly to you. That doesn’t happen.

I've never considered on-line purchase of firearms. Please explain just how that is accomplished. How would the dealer verify who the purchaser is with an on-line purchase?

CTD manages to use bad judgement and piss off their customer base YET AGAIN.
Way to go, CTD!
