A professor of history turned to Twitter over the weekend to call for the death of National Rifle Association (NRA) CEO Wayne LaPierre, branding the gun rights group he heads as a terrorist organization.

However, as of 6pm Pacific, no non-blog outlet is rolling with this story, so you either accept it from the blogger, or flush it down the memory hole, as the Left would prefer.
Given those choices, I’m thinkin’ we leave the blogger alone, and let the story get air.
I feel it will continue.

It’s the same self-satisfied smirk. That’s what’s the same, IMHO.
If you’re referring to the FBI not calling you back to tell you what they did with your info you’re off base. They have never done that and have procedural rules as well as laws that negate doing that.
I do not expect much, but using “FBI” to sound official, I figured they want to stop that.

They probably do want to stop that and may very well investigate it. They aren’t going to bring members of the public into their investigations and keep them apprised of their actions though. One, that could compromise their investigation and two, it could create legal liabilities for them. Very few LEAs other than Andy and Barney would do that.
