Nancy Lanza legally bought and owned the guns used in the Connecticut school shooting on Friday afternoon, according to NBC News.
---
This finding makes sense considering Adam Lanza was not old enough to legally own a gun in his home state. NBC News reports that Connecticut residents must be 21 or older to purchase or carry a handgun. Adam Lanza, meanwhile, was just 20 years old. However, rifle owners in the state are not required to register their weapons.

One of the alphabet stations said 2 handguns and a semi-automatic. But be aware that (a) the details are constantly changing since the tragedy just occurred today, and (b) I would bet that most news types don’t know a thing about firearms (I don’t either).

It’s the MSM. They think a Ford Pinto is a WMD.

So it was either:
1. He killed her and stole her guns (illegal)
2. Mom did a straw purchase for son (illegal)
Yet if we banned guns, the crazy couldn’t have obtained the gun or just used a bat, bomb, bow, or anything else to do his evil.

We really need laws to prevent nutjobs from killing little kids. This appears to be an oversight in our legal system.

The worst mass killing in the US I believe is the Happyland Social club fire where the killer used a plastic milk jug he found on the street and a gallon of stolen gasoline.
I think more than 70 were killed.

"We really need laws to prevent nutjobs from killing little kids. This appears to be an oversight in our legal system."We must also make it illegal to kill people and steal their guns or to purchase weapons to give to someone that is not legally allowed to have them (whichever case it might be here).
Oh wait.....it already is.

We really need laws to prevent nutjobs from killing little kids. This appears to be an oversight in our legal system. That's a great idea for a new law. Lets make it illegal to kill children. . . Oh, wait, aren't children already included in the general law against killing people? Yes, I think they count as people. . . Small people. . . But still people.

Is there an actual point to this “news report”? Did this women purchase and own a car also? Would that be part of a report if her son had driven down a sidewalk and killed a dozen people??
So tired of this nonsense.

I’m certain the family of the Chinese man who slit the throats of the Chinese children owned kitchen knives.
I think they prepared food with them. Incredible, huh?!?

She bought them, and kept them somewhere where her son, who everyone knew wasn’t right, had access to them.
