Moving Rice to National Security Advisor Is a Brilliant Tactical Move

President Obama made a brilliant move giving up Rice for Secratary of State. He can now move her to National Security Advisor, much how Nixon originally had Kissinger inside the White House. As National Security Advisor, she is covered by Executive Privilege (Secretary of State is not). This positioning affords Obama a great deal more strategic range. Kerry in State plays into placating Republican Senators - they will resist attacking Kerry. Kerry is ultimately an ineffective leader (also known as "Figure Head"), so he can travel the world collecting frequent flyer miles without disrupting the President's Foreign Policy Agenda. Loss of Kerry seat allows for some drama that will take news cycles away from Benghazi et. al. State Department then just becomes a shield of activity for Obama to do whatever he wants foreign policy wise behind wall of White House.

A grand Irony of course is that Benghazi actually dropped into the lap of the National Security Advisor. So if a similar event occurs in the future, Rice will lead the real time response.

If you LIE or CHEAT and GET AWAY WITH IT, you are qualified for a top job in 0bama's White House.

Anyone with half a brain can deduce that Rice lied for 0bama in exchange for a promotion. That promotion is moving forward yet no one makes the connection. Duh.

Yep, I kept posting that her withdrawing from consideration was another meaningless victory for the Senate RINOs.
They are trying to make believe that they serve some purpose.

Everybody has suspected that Susan Rice was sort of a loss-leader. Bambi knew he wouldn’t get her in and was planning on then going with somebody who would have been seen as more objectionable if he hadn’t first presented somebody as awful as Rice. I thought that was his objective.

However, I think this article - suggesting that she will be the new National Security Advisor - has added a very interesting aspect, namely that she would then enjoy Executive Privilege and it would be very hard to question her about anything.

Mind, she doesn’t know anything except what she was told, but that alone would be pretty damaging, since all she was told was a lie.

I was questioning the RINOs not O.

But I wonder why they didnt play coy until she was nominated then bring her down then. That would of hurt O. Or were they scared to be seen questioning her?

One of the things that makes it difficult for anybody to deal with Obama is that he is so outrageous (or at any rate, the team running him is - he’s too dumb and lazy to think up these things himself, but he obviously loves carrying them out). He disregards both law and precedent and even history. Somebody with Susan Rice’s dismal track record should never have been anywhere near an important position, but then, the same is true of Obama.

But it’s tempting for people to think or want to think that they are still dealing with a normal person who is a normal president but just a little full of himself, ala Bill Clinton. What they don’t realize is that they are dealing with a total dictatorial nutcase who has no respect for our system, and will simply brazenly do anything he wants.

The result is that they’re always one step behind in opposing him. You’d think they’d learn, but I really think it’s hard for people who play the game by the rules, even too much so, one might say, to deal with somebody who writes his own, completely unpredictable rules and then just imposes them.

I was more thinking that elected Rs (national) are just not that bright and he keeps outsmarting them.

Bohner and McConnell are pretty dull tools, and during last years debt limit standoff the Rs saying dumb stuff like ‘default, default, shut it down’ for Dems to use as weapons set their own coming defeat in stone.

Look at Akin. And Angle two years earlier. I mean are these folks hatched from an eggs just before the race?

A good place to start would be :
“How can I get voters to agree with me and turn against O so he caves?”

rather than:

“I got elected so Americans agree with me, the polls are all rigged anyway (Rush assures me of this) to say the opposite, and who cares anyway because I am right”

then having to cave on it when your own district voters scream at you.

These losers better win some and it better be more significant than Rice.

I believe that BO’s strong defense, tough guy act, of Rice was all an act. The last thing he wants is for her to be grilled by a committee about Benghazi and that would have happened. They pretended like she was so wonderful and so qualified and even threw in the race card to talk about the evil Republicans that don't think she's qualified. It was all an act and moving her to a position where she can use Executive privilege seals the deal and makes sure that BO, Rice and Clinton won't take the fall for what they did to contribute to the murders. This is highly suspicious and hopefully, Trey Gowdy and the rest will catch on to this.
