ESPN announced Friday morning that commentator and Saturday First Take host Rob Parker has been suspended for his comments Thursday concerning Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III. Parker may not be out of hot water; network spokesperson Mike Soltys added that ESPN was conducting a "full review" of the incident.

ESPN responding to backlash from the dwindling number of sane people left in America. While ESPN fully supports Rob Parker’s racist views, ESPN does not want to lose any revenue.
A couple of years ago, I “suspended” Comcast, the medium through which ESPN was spreading their crap through my household. My life is richer for it.
“Suspended...review”.Heh.
He’ll receive the usual “culturally sanctioned victim group” dispensation and be back on the air by next week.
Exactly!
If Parker was white, he’d be headed to the unemployment line right about now...
The 8 virtues espoused by George Washington Carver:
Be clean both inside and out.
Neither look up to the rich nor down on the poor.
Lose, if need be, without squealing.
Win without bragging.
Always be considerate of women, children, and older people.
Be too brave to lie.
Be too generous to cheat.
Take your share of the world and let others take theirs.

We went into slavery without a language; we came out speaking the proud Anglo-Saxon tongue. We went into slavery with slave chains clanking about our wrists; we came out with the American ballot in our hands.

Of Rob Parker or RGIII, who more closely emulates these great men and their ideas?
One of us indeed!
Why? I think it’s good to have people like that up there putting the full display of progressive racist idiocy on display for the world to see. Oh, that’s probably why he’s suspended . ..
Exactly. Suspend?! Srsly? That's it?! The reaction should be identical to what they did to Rush, right? (even though Rush was NOT racist)
A strongly-worded letter to NK is pretty lame, I agree. But, "suspending", it's probably stronger than that.
It's probably more akin to a Capitalized strongly-worded letter to NK.
With a bonus of some sort.
he should have been fired. What a jackass......but after all the left has its stereo types that must be met
If a white sportscaster had made these same comments, he would
Have been fired immediately and rightfully so.
The fact that this black sportscaster who made these comments,
has not been fired, is a mystery.
I’ve kind of felt the same way about Tom Brady. OK, he’s white, he kinda does the thing, but he’s not really down with our cause, he’s not one of us. He’s kinda white, but he’s not really, like, the guy you really wanna hang out with because he’s off to something else. And I don’t really have a problem with Brady’s haircut. I mean, if you’ve got short hair the suburban thing going on, your white. I’ve heard rumors that maybe Brady once had a black fiancee at one time. I just want to know what Tom Brady is all about. There was all this talk about he’s a Democrat, which, there’s no information [about that] at all. I’m just trying to dig deeper as to why he has an issue. Because we did find out with other famous white athletes, are like, I’ve got white skin, but don’t call me white. I just want to make sure Tom Brady is not a cornball white person.
George Washington Carver - one of my heroes when I was a little kid...
Yep! The guy should be fired and given the PR treatment they gave to Jimmy the Greek.
I’ve avoided ESPN talking head programs ever since I gave up PTI a few years ago. Kornheiser and Wilbon spouting their liberal nonsense just pissed me off too much. I do watch sports programming still though as the political commentary is kept to a minimum with the play-by-play taking up most of the time.
OK, you’re right - it’s about as tough as sending a strongly worded letter to North Korea. BUT, it’s a lot more than most of us were expecting. I’m sure the New York Times and Washington Post support his ‘not black enough’ hate... ESPN has done something NOT politically correct - and it took courage... let’s give ‘em a thumbs up on this one...
