After a contentious election sometimes emotions run high. The winners are jubilant and the losers are despondent. This time its different. After 4 years of an us against them policy this nation has never been as divided as we are now since the first civil war. What may have been a deliberate policy to win an election may well transform into a monster that will devour us all.

Understood. I have a lot of trouble with photo’s myself
And without the error about urban/rural.
I couldn’t figure out how to do urban/rural on the slant, so I didn’t “fix” the image, just eliminated the explanatory lists.
Well
As you say the concept is easily understandable as is.
What is considered rural, urban?
Arbitrary population density or population center size?
What is richer? I suppose that could mean being debt free or making over $100k/yr, but like rural/urban, the definition eludes me.

The Ford Foundation and the Ford Motor Company are two different entities.
Yes Indeed
But the sources I quoted stated that they both give money to Tide.
Yeah I know. Hurts.
Course it hurts that Chevy is now “Government Motors”
Here’s the link
Unfortunately, they’re using our dollars to fight us.
Oh, I'm paying attention.
Duplexed magazines? I'll have to give that one a look.
Yes
And THAT is what we must stop. No more of our money to Leftist companies.
Something which has always bothered me is how all these huge endowments got taken over by the radical left.
From what I have seen and read, Henry Ford and Andrew Carnegie were pretty conservative yet the Ford Foundation and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace are controlled by liberals or even Communists.
I remember Alger Hiss was president of the Carnegie Endowment.
Just how did they gain control of all these organizations?
I understand exactly what you mean. Leaders of industry and the American way.
I don’t know. But I would imagine they did not place proper legal controls over their endowments and foundations to carry out their ideas. Goes back to the old saying: Get it in writing.
Oh
If I remember Yarddog, Ford was an avowed anti communist.
Also, the reference to the Heinz Corporation reminded me of another recent thread that showed Heinz donating more money to Republicans than Democrats, something like 60% to 40%. In fact, I remember similar stories from back during the 2004 campaign. I can only surmise that the "Open Secrets" data doesn't take donations to intermediaries such as Tides into account.
I believe your correct Charles
Seems like a lot of folks give to Tide so their hands are “clean.”
It’s almost like money laundering. And it’s deniable. Tide is a non profit and does NOT have to tell who donates.
Nice huh?
I’ve written a whole book on what a modern civil war looks like. Calling it a cold civil war has merits, it is being carried on with proxy armies.
