Rick Warren is a fan of Peter Drucker- and he is a socialist vulture, into social engineering, and has trashed the church of Jesus.
Nothing he says represents Jesus. No one should pay attention to anything he says.

But that’s the sticky point. The word “accept” means a lot more than just saying “I believe Jesus will save me.” God looks past hollow words and into the heart. If one says they accept Jesus merely to justify their continued sin, that is heretical.

It even has a name...the gospel of acceptance. And yes, it is heretical. If I recall, Jesus’ first words in Mark are “the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent!”
So Warren claims that he and his wife have given millions of dollars to help fight AIDS. My question is....what the hell is a pastor doing with millions of dollars in the first place? That fact alone is a travesty, and it proves that these mega church pastors are only in it for the money and the glory.
Well... you *do* know that the New Covenant superseded the Old Covenant (cf. Hebrews 8:1-13) and fulfilled it, insofar as the Old Covenant Mosaic Laws are no longer binding (cf. Mark 7:19, Acts 10:10-16)? Not so with the moral law (the Ten Commandments, the New Testament, etc.).
Come, now! Yes, Jesus came to die for all our sins... but if you believe that repentance and conversion aren’t necessary for us to APPROPRIATE that redemption, then you’re sorely mistaken. Heavens, you practically can’t read a single paragraph of the Gospels without tripping over that idea; do you really need references for that?

Absolutely, repentance is necessary. My point is that too many want to believe that one sin is worse than others.

There wouldn’t be all of this theological confusion, if Christians would always call it, what the Word of God calls it, SIN, and that Jesus came to save us FROM sin, not TO sin.
