Sen. Susan Collins (Maine) on Wednesday became the latest GOP senator to raise questions about Susan Rice.
After an almost two-hour meeting with the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Collins said she's unconvinced by Rice's explanation of her role after the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi, Libya.
I continue to be troubled by the fact that the UN ambassador decided to play what was essentially a political role at the height of a contentious presidential election ... by agreeing to go on the Sunday shows to present the administration's position, the top Republican on the Homeland Security Committee said.

Keep in mind that Susan Rice is also apparently the one who blocked Osama Bin Laden's handover from the Sudan.
A few hundred mil of our dough should ease her “troubles”, I’m sure.
She’s just trying to get support for the constituents she represents — like Christie did when he hugged the Fraud, right?
People also need to be ‘troubled’ by the abject disregard of the 1st Amendment. No ACLU. No Hollywood. No Leftwing media. They all stood by while it was trashed as cover for the terror attack.
RINO snorts Rice full of beans!
bfl
Why should Rice be concerned about additional protection against freedom fighters. Sure they’re muzzies, but really not different than Patrick Henry, Nathan Hale and George Washington.
We are now in the political theatre phase of Benghazi and this will slow down around Christmas time. After the 1st of January, this will be old news and all will be forgotten. Rice will be nominated and she will be confirmed with the votes of Collins, McLame and Lyndsey, among other Republicans.
People often forget that watergate happened in Nixons FIRST term and was reported upon before the election. It wasn’t until after Nixon won re-election though that the whole thing started blowing up and eventually took him down.
And much like Bengazie, it was the coverup that brought Nixon down.
I don’t think so. Obama offered her up as a pimp would offer a whore. Now she is expendable and Obama will use this as capitulating to conservatives.
The Democrat press and Senate would never allow that to happen to Barry.
It also seems to be part of the GOP MO to focus on whether Rice was misleading one Sunday morning, instead of the underlying arming of AQ supporters happening under their noses.
The breakin was about as serious as shoplifting a pack of gum from a drugstore.
I don’t trust any of these people. Wonder what these idiots are up to?
Note Adam, note Eve, is that a bowl of apples on the coffee table? Original sin, or was it the Clinton acquittal?
Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) meets with the President Obama in the Oval Office. Collins was one of three Republican Senators who eventually voted for the stimulus bill.
Described as one of "the last survivors of a once common species of moderate Northeastern Republican,"[5] Collins is considered a bipartisan and centrist member of the Republican Party, and an influential player in the U.S. Senate.[9][10][11][12] She is a member of several moderate organizations within the Republican Party, including the Republican Main Street Partnership, Republican Majority For Choice, Republicans for Choice, The Wish List, Republicans for Environmental Protection, and the Republican Leadership Council. Her voting record was at one time center-left which has caused some Republicans to label her as a "Republican in Name Only" (RINO). Although she shares a centrist ideology with Maine's senior Senator, Olympia Snowe, Collins is considered a "half-turn more conservative" than Snowe.[5] Collins has consistently been endorsed by the Human Rights Campaign, a major LGBT rights organization; she was one of six Republicans running in 2008 to be endorsed by the HRC.[13] She supported John McCain in the 2008 election for President of the United States.[14]
In the 1990s, Collins played an important role during the U.S. Senate's impeachment trial of Bill Clinton when she and fellow Maine Senator Olympia Snowe sponsored a motion that would have allowed the Senate to vote separately on the charges and the remedy. When the motion failed, both Snowe and Collins subsequently voted to acquit, believing that while Clinton had broken the law by committing perjury, the charges did not amount to grounds for removal from office.

But, but......she's a "half-turn more conservative".....
You’d think they would at least broadcast this Kabuki Theater on PBS during pledge week...
Susan Rice was Clinton’s Undersecretary of State for African Affairs.
Yet another ‘troubled’ rino.>>>>>>>>>>>>
You know, I have found these video clips from Bill Whittle very helpful for RINOs. It shows exactly how the GOP should be presenting itself, without any apology to the left or anyone:

Wikipedia has quite a dossier on Rice. We should be concerned about her for many reasons.
Wikipedia. :”Rice’s classmates and professors OF Oxford included advocates of the role of the United Nations and international law (Sir Adam Roberts, Benedict Kingsbury),[9] of global economic governance and international economic cooperation (Ngaire Woods, Donald Markwell),[10] and of a firm stance against Russian authoritarianism (Michael McFaul)”
