Sens. John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Kelly Ayotte meet with UN Ambassador Susan Rice, who is a leading candidate for secretary of state despite the controversy over her comments on the deadly attack in Libya.

These slimy evil-doers leave no rocks unturned. He was there for a purpose, and it wasn't to hold the Madame's hand.
Leni
So what. They will still vote to confirm her.
Gott’em all. Thank you. I am working on a definitive analysis for jsec starting from what I believe is the start of all this and trying to put things in chron order detail for detail. The drips, drabs, and downright fabrications, the idiocy of the whole petraeus farce, why, and what. It’s quite a task, but determined to get it right and make sense out of what seems to be chaos. It really isn’t if you’ve kept your eye on the ball.
Gotta know the players and the script and subscript.
“And all reference to the Muslim Islamic terrorist (John Doe 2) was wiped from all news stories.”
At least we can still get Jayna Davis’ book “The Third Terrorist” - for now.
McCain, Graham and Ayotte are clearly PISSED and upset. Rice is an incompetent moron, and has NO BUSINESS working at this level (or any other position above a fry-cook at Mickey D). They are STILL waiting for details about the FBI interviews. Obama’s minions most likely are seeing to it that any incriminating evidence against Dear Leader is destroyed.
he was there to protect her and threaten the gang of 3
The GOP should have stopped this mess over 4 years ago. And now it will continue for four more. Juan McCain is the worst of them all by not challenging the candidacy of BHO. They won’t do anything about this either. Only ones talking about it pretty much are these 3 and Fox.
I just called Senator Ayotte, 202-224-3324, and left a message to encourage her to keep pushing for the truth, I’d encourage everyone to do the same...
But, were they pissed at Rice? Or were they pissed at Obama because of things Rice revealed to them?
They said it was because the meeting raised more questions than answered any.
That is her normal speaking voice ... has always sounded nervous to me.
I know. But, maybe she told them more than we know, things that would undermine Obama.
Yes, Jayna Davis did an excellent job!
LOL!
Well, McCain probably played Ashley Wilkes and offered her his hankie to sob into While Linsey patted her back like Miss Mellie
Even Lindsey graham (the guy who decided his oath against raising taxes no longer applies) was going off on all the lies that were told to the public 3 weeks before the election - he looked pretty incensed for someone who has become deserving of incense...
This is reminding me of the night after Clinton was deposed in the Paula Jones case. The Jones group went out and celebrated at dinner; Clinton retreated to the WH, looking very distressed. Days later the SHTF with the Monica tapes.
yep and this is a case of listen to what you don’t hear....
.. sure are quiet about Petreyus’ trip to investigate ain’t they
“trying to put things in chron order detail for detail”
...as if you don’t have enough on your over-sized platter. ;-(
BTW: Last week, I started to do the same! The time-line is complicated but absolutely CRITICAL.
IIRC, it was you who mentioned that they were willing to sacrifice 40, not “just” 4. It made such an impression on me because I had thought the very same thing on the same day just prior to reading your post. Don’t hear anyone talking about that (but it needs to be proved).
My own requirements are to source every detail, and for now, I am working in MS Windows within a little MacBook Air. Appreciative for the slick machine, but footprint not big enough for mega-research.
If I can be of any help with your project, FreepMail me. The Benghazi betrayal/treason will never be understood without a timeline (and the known positions of available assets).
Just a few points that stood out to me about the timeline that no one has dealt with:
Essential to post events both in Benghazi time AND est time (for one’s own and readers’ sanity). In the beginning, Adm was slippery about this and the media was sloppy.
IIRC, Stevens’ death was approx 1am Benghazi time (7pm, est) IMO. Hospital worked on his body for 45 min before pronouncing him dead. These details had to be known by Adm far sooner than it was reported, maybe by as much as 8 hrs prior. I think it can/will be proved when Adm first had knowledge of his death, and that fact will be important.
7:00pm (est) 1 am Wed (Benghazi)— an additional CIA team of about six security officers from the embassy in Tripoli had arrived at Benghazi. [Detained for 3 hrs!!!???]
At 1:15am (Benghazi time) CIA reinforcements arrive at Benghazi Airport from a 45min flight from Tripoli in a plane they hastily chartered. That team, which includes Glen Doherty, doesn’t leave the Benghazi airport until 4:30am. They are held up by Libyan authorities.
That team wanted to go to hospital to retrieve Ambassador Steven’s body, but couldn’t because the hospital, according to the CIA, was surrounded by the Ansar al Sharia militia, an al-Qaeda-linked group behind the attack. hmmm... to this point!!!
Have to go back to the beginning. In the beginning, there was a PLAN. Whose plan? What were the goals? Who were the players, top and bit?
Must define motives...and there were several, not just one. This was a plan that had to be carried out almost perfectly to succeed, but the bit players were out of sync. No one knew what the left hand was doing. The embassy idiots in Cairo jumped out there hours earlier than they should have. The marbles scattered from there.
That was the first red flag that made everyone else go “hmmmmm.”
Yep. I’ve considered it, but the plan/motives must be proved-— or at the very least supported by a long timeline (broad in some areas, and minutely detailed in others); otherwise just opinion. An enormous task.

BTW: Ayotte interview by M. Kelley on FOX (2pm). This is a transcript of the substance of the interview.
KELLEY: Why are you more troubled today than you were before you met with Amb. Rice.
AYOTTE: I will say that upfront the acting director of the CIA and Amb Rice said that the story about the video and the protests was wrong. In fact the acting director of the CIA said that by Sept 22 they had absolutely confirmed that that was wrong.....
Why didn’t she come forward sooner? In addition,
we have heard that she relied on the unclassified talking points in terms of what she said on each of the Sunday shows. But what was important to understand is that, in her capacity as UN Ambassador, she also reviewed the daily intelligence briefings.
We know from already reported information that the classified talking points said clearly that Al Qaeda, individuals associated with AQ, or with ties to AQ, were involved with the attacks.
That was then omitted from the unclassified talking points, but she had reviewed the classified talking points, and nevertheless, when you look at what she said on CBS (Face the Nation), also on Meet the Press, not only was that piece omitted, but also she said that Al Qaeda was decimated in both of those interviews.
So, that of course, was a misleading impression to the American people about what happened at the consulate. Obviously, the American people would have taken a very different impression had the info about individuals with ties to AQ been involved in the attack been presented from the very beginning.
KELLEY: What was her explanation for that?
AYOTTE: I was unsatisfied with the explanation. Basically, as I understand it, the explanation is that that was being withheld-— the AQ involvement, that point of the talking points was being withheld for CLASSIFIED REASONS, but I also explored, Didn’t you question that? because that left...if you omit that portion of the talking points...it leaves a very different impression to the American people.
And frankly, I didn’t get a satisfactory answer to that or an explanation that I felt really warranted... And think about, obviously she has a very important position in the UN.
She made it very clear that she was not just parroting the talking points, but she had obviously done her own homework, and part of her responsibilities is to receive the daily intelligence briefing that includes the classified information.
KELLEY: I see your point. It’s not that she just withheld the info about AQ. She made statements that seemed to suggest that AQ was decimated, and yet she had info in hand that suggested they were behind this attack.

Interview not yet posted on FOX.
Been waiting for them to pull out “classified info” trump card. IMO, they are going to keep using this at strategic times to keep Benghazi details from the public.
MM: Didn’t Obama pull out of his “umm...hat” a grand EO classifying F & F material? Think they will do same here. Called the compound a consulate until it was reported it was no consulate at all. Then called it a mission.
Wonder if Morrell used this gambit at the meeting? You can say this; you can’t say that; it’s classified.
Now, on to McCain’s interview...
Not much to McCain’s disappointing interview-—mostly because Cavuto failed to ask relevant questions and moved on to John Kerry & Grover Norquist & fiscal cliff.
McCain interview with Cavuto:
“There were people who were survivors of the consulate who were flown to Germany, who were interviewed by the FBI, and they said absolutely there was no demonstration. Yet for a couple of weeks, the intelligence community seemed to be wrestling with signal intelligence and other classified info that they had, which led them to wait 2 weeks before they could come out and say that there was no spontaneous demonstration, that this was a planned attack by AQ.”
......
“How could the FBI possibly not tell the CIA what the survivors said within 2 days after the tragedy, and that is that there was no demonstration? It’s mind-boggling, some of it.”
.....
“There are a lot of layers to this onion.”
~~~~~~~~~~~
That was about it. Video of Ayotte interview worth reviewing when it is posted. Skip McCain for any Benghazi info. This is all he had to say, for now.
