[history]
After a year in which Republicans had precious little for which to be thankful, perhaps it's not surprising that party leaders and the faithful spent a good chunk of the long Thanksgiving weekend obsessing instead over 2016

Well lets see...George HW Bush took the vibrant, dominant Republican party Ronald Reagan left that could win 49 states in a presidential election and managed to destroy it in only four years. We managed to cobble together the pieces just in time for George W. Bush to destroy it once again. I'm not sure what the Bush's have against the Republican party, but at this point, I'm don't know how much more damage a Jeb presidency could do..

Let me see, we voted for George H. W. Bush because we thought he was a continuation of Ronald Reagan. We voted for George W. Bush because we thought he would be a little more conservative than his father. Now they are going to want us to vote for Jed Bush because we think ....................something or another.
No thanks

You (GOPe) can nominate a RINO if you like, but if you do this conservative stays home. Well, then, steel yourself for all the GOPe flying monkeys who will sign on to FreeRepublic to browbeat you and tell you that you will be therefore voting for the DemocRAT.

Yep, that’s right. You haven’t voted for a Conservative for president.
Sad isn’t it.

The last time the Republicans won a presidential election without a Bush on the ticket was 1972.

I supported Romney with some enthusiasm. There is no way that I could ever support Jeb Bush. If this nonsense persists, I will go into the details. But he is simply not acceptable--either ideologically, or in any other rational sense.

Dear GOP:
I believe Jeb Bush is a decent man.
I also believe Jeb Bush is a RINO.
RINOs make me wretch.
If you want me permanently OUT of the Republican party, go ahead and make my day and nominate him.
I will no longer tolerate RINOs, whom I consider to be only two IQ points higher than liberals/progressives/cretins.

The GOP leadership is bound and determined to kill the republican party!
