Is Obama Always Faithful to our Marines?
The current political winds in Washington, DC, have dictated that less will be spent on the various Branches of the Armed Forces of the Unites States.
Case in point: the Commander-in-Chief has decided to fire 20,000 of our U.S. Marines.
In an article published by San Diego, California's North County Times, ironically on Thanksgiving Day, Military Affairs reporter Gretel C. Kovach cites;
"The Corps is shrinking by 20,000 Marines, to 182,100."
The North County Times also cited that America's premier fighting force is;
"scraping to repair or replace battle-worn equipment."
In spite of the Nobel Peace Prize award winning Obama ordering a recent surge in combat troops the Afghanistan theater of war, Kovach also pointed out that America's beloved Marine Corps is still to be slashed by roughly 20 percent;
"despite no sign of an enemy collapse."
So What Will The Taxpayers Money Be Spent On?
Earlier this week, Breitbart.com covered the recent agreement Barack Obama has promised billions of Yankee dollars to the oil-rich and overwhelmingly Muslim nations of Indonesia and Brunei.

Unfortunately he won’t.
At least some hings never change.

Good grief, doesn’t the man have any brains?
We will be attacked again.
This is not new or sudden. I think it was in February (I was still deployed in Egypt)that I was watching (on C-Span) the USMC leadership testifying that they were planning a cutback of 20,000. That was immediately following the Army, who were also announcing cuts.
Lets not forget that when the Corps was authorized to run it up over 200,000, we were fully engaged in two wars.
Scream at Goldstein! Scream at INGSOC!
Our democracy has failed, as historians have predicted, because the people have voted themselves the public treasury, politicians have bribed the people with the people’s money and those who have voted do not have to pay the taxes they have voted. It appears the majority of voters prefer their free ice cream than their democratic freedom. Read history and we can expect what is surely to follow.
Watch the other hand......a movement to abolish the 22 amendment. Obama will run for a third term.
It’s inevitable....and it won’t be long. That’s all I’ll say.
So should the manpower of all US military branches expand forever?
And by they way, 20,000 Marines aren’t waking up tomorrow to find out they’ve been kicked out - that’s not how it’s done (gradually). Some will retire, many will simply complete their enlistments and leave of their own volition, poor performers who want to re-enlist won’t be allowed to, and recruiting standards will be raised resulting in fewer Marines being inducted.
Right there with you. The mods cut me a lot of slack from time to time, probably more than I deserve. But if I really said what I thought of this, I'd be lucky to ever be let back on.
1.) Destabilize the middle east. Check.
2.) Borrow billions of $$$ from the ChiComs to send to my rich muslim buddies so my campaign contributors can start soon-to-fail green energy companies and send most of the money back to me. Check.
3.) Decimate the US Armed Forces. Check.
4.) Build my own “homeland security force”. Check.
What could possibly go wrong?
I thought all spending had to originate in the House?
I am waiting. I hope you are right.
Obummer, Hillary, and Rice continue to blame the Intel community for the Benghazi cover-up. Personally, I think more whistleblowers and leakers are in the cards.
Isn’t it sad that we have gotten to the point where we would welcome a military coup.

I remember seeing Ronald Reagan on TV when he was president saying that he was in favor of the repeal of the 22nd Amendment. “Not for me,” Reagan added, “but for future presidents.”
Thank God President Reagan didn’t get his way. I wonder how many terms Billy “BJ” Clinton would have “served?”
"Works for me...!!"
