The total number of firearms purchased in Virginia increased 73 percent from 2006 to 2011. When state population increases are factored in, gun purchases per 100,000 Virginians rose 63 percent.
But the total number of gun-related violent crimes fell 24 percent over that period, and when adjusted for population, gun-related offenses dropped more than 27 percent, from 79 crimes per 100,000 in 2006 to 57 crimes in 2011.

The US government ignores gun laws. They coerced legit guns dealers to break the law. They ran guns to Mexican drug cartels. In Benghazi they were coordinating aid (weapons)to Syrian opposition groups. I wouldn’t put it past these jokers to be running a domestic version of F&F.
You’re probably right. Our gov’t agencies’ already bad practices are made worse with Obama at the helm.

Instead of being nearby I keep my carry pistol on me even at home. I work inside and out while carrying a pistol. My neighbors have become used to it, as they should, and when I answer the door it gives notice that whomever comes to my home had better be respectful.
When I politely say "no" to someone hawking their wares or services I always get a polite "thank you" and never get any extra sales pitch or conversation.
