One would think hosts on MSNBC would be very thankful this holiday that the President they so tirelessly worked to re-elect prevailed on Election Day. But there is truly no rest for the weary, bitter leftists on Comcast's disgraceful propaganda outlet.
MSNBC host and professional race-baiter Melissa Harris-Perry starts things off by trying to dampen our spirits by attacking the Thanksgiving story:
“The kindergarten story that you learned about grateful Pilgrims and happy Indians is not even close to the historic reality of how European settlers brought violence, disease and land theft to the indigenous peoples who were already in this land long before it was discovered.”Perry then blasted the Macy's parade for its relationship with the "racist" Donald Trump, and even tries to depress viewers enjoying Thanksgiving football games by showing photos of injured players and bemoaning head injuries.
Finally, to make sure you do not even enjoy your meal, Perry reminds you that “millions of poor families in this country” regularly go hungry - while conveniently not taking her hero Obama to task for the record number of Americans using food stamps this year to buy their holiday meals.
Perry went on to say that we should still enjoy our holiday while we “embrace” the ”agony and loss and injustice that under-girds our history.” Groan!

Not content with attacking the Pilgrims, parade, football and meals, MSNBC.com also posted "tips" on how to "shut up" your family's "hardcore conservative" with canned talking points from their buddies at the DNC and Obama Campaign. Every family’s got one...that hardcore conservative who makes every Thanksgiving get-together a nightmare by sounding off, unprompted, on how liberals are ruining this country with their taxing and their spending and their gay-marrying, and how back in my day blah blah blah.So America has a crisis: families filled with Obama fans (despite him winning a mere 50.6% of the national vote) who would otherwise be enjoying Thanksgiving except for a single conservative (and obvious old white male, from the "Uncle Gary" and "in my my day" references) who ruins it all by "sounding off". And since those folks apparently cannot think for themselves, MSNBC helpfully provides Democrat propaganda points for like-minded liberals to "shut him up".Usually you just keep your head down and stare into your turkey and try not to make eye contact with anyone. Then the next morning in the shower you remember what you should have said in response.
But this year’s going to be different. Why? Because here at MSNBC, we’ve anticipated crazy Uncle Gary’s top talking points, and provided you with the concise, factual, snappy rebuttals you need to finally shut him up once and for all.
Clearly the bitter left-wingers at MS-LSD (as radio host Mark Levin calls them) are never thankful about much of anything.
My family came here in 1952, from Austria, after having left Serbia (Yugoslavia), after pretty much having everything destroyed or ransacked by both Nazis and the Soviet occupiers alike. Now, I look and see the situation in the United States, and I am feeling, yeah, these people on TV and in the electorate have totally forgotten about what screwed up Europe with WWII the Holocaust, and the Communist occupation.
This is a Comcast company, folks.
Yeah, funny how that’s never mentioned. In fact I’ve read that DNA analysis shows Indian ancestors crossed over from Siberian/Alaskan land connection way back when. How do they know they were the first inhabitants of the Western Hemisphere?
They just say whatever suits their agenda. Always victims, never perps. Whites are evil. They really should resettle somewhere else. We ain’t going away.

These hypocrites love to bring up the American Indians but none of them will move their butts out of the United States. They love the money, the malls, the movie theatres, the vacations, the tv, the ipads, the credit cards, the cars, the indoor plumbing, the heated houses, the air conditioning etc. etc. If they are so guilt ridden by what happened in the past, how can they stand to live in such a terrible country? Hypocrites!
I wonder if the drug-addictd left ever stops to consider that, without the courage of the Pilgrims, the patriots and those who have gone in peril during war are the reason that they even have a venue to spout their ignorance and hate!

Agreed...Haven’t once seen MSNBC. We have the power of the clicker.....Bleep NBC and the rest of the lame stream media cheerleaders. No one has asked this president any meaningful questions in over a year. What a joke. Shameful examples of journalism.

I didn’t engage in preemptive strikes, but I’m not going to let a liberal family member spout nonsense without challenging them. If they open the topic, they’re fair game.

These are the ones using the television airwaves to give tips on how to shut up those family members that dare to use their free speech to utter that which goes against the statist policy.
I so wish I could have been at the Thanksgiving table with this mindless, talking-point drone.
She would have had to use the stuffing to plug the new ahole I would have ripped her...with clear-cut logic, fact, history, and critical analysis.
That’s all I did.
But they have gotten so comfortable (due to the rules of what is PC) that they are unaware how many biased, nasty, anti-conservative statements they make.
I just sat back and waited for what they believed to be inane, innocuous statements and then countered quickly and cleanly, demonstrating to them how biased their comments were and how unfounded.
Astute Freepers need to take her list of ten and debunk them with real facts.
Some of the leftists know exactly what they’re doing, but a lot are simple drones. Drones typically haven’t thought through what they’re espousing. They are simply regurgitating what they’ve learned in the indoctrination centers, aka schools, or heard from the Democrat propaganda arm, aka media. The vast majority of true leftists probably can’t be reached, but the drones, especially young ones, might be shaken up. Many of us were drones at one time. It may not reach them immediately, but conservative arguments are based on commonsense and the real world. We just have to pierce the fog in hopes they’ll eventually wise up.
