GAZA CITY The top leader of Hamas dared Israel on Monday to launch a ground invasion of Gaza and dismissed diplomatic efforts to broker a cease-fire in the six-day-old conflict, as the Israeli military conducted a new wave of deadly airstrikes on the besieged Palestinian enclave, including a second hit on a 15-story building that houses media outlets. A volley of rockets fired from Gaza into southern Israel included one that hit a vacant school.
Speaking at a news conference in Cairo, where the diplomatic efforts were under way, the Hamas leader, Khaled Meshal, suggested that the Israeli infantry mobilization on the border with Gaza was a bluff on the part of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel.
If you wanted to launch it, you would have done it, Mr. Meshal told reporters. He accused Israel of using the invasion threat as an attempt to dictate its own terms and force us into silence.
Rejecting Israels contention that Hamas had precipitated the conflict, Mr. Meshal said the burden was on the Israelis. The demand of the people of Gaza is meeting their legimitate demands for Israel to be restrained from its aggression, assassinations and invasions, and for the siege over Gaza to be ended, he said.
The Hamas Health Ministry said Monday evening that a total of 102 people had been killed since Wednesday morning, when Israeli airstrikes began, following months of Palestinian rocket fire into Israel. A spokeswoman for the Israeli military said she believed that a majority of these were militants, though it is difficult to know because Hamass own fighting brigade and the other factional groups are secretive.

I so wish Israel would take them up on the bet...not the invasion,,but just blast the place into oblivion.
I would not invade at this time.
I’d use the IDF to create a WIDE buffer zone between Sinai and Gaza....then ANNEX the buffer zone.
Then kill the power to Gaza until at least until 90 days passes without the Gazans launching a single missile.
Every time even a single missile is launched then another 90 days. After the third 90 day shutdown announce that another missile launch will result in Israel permanently pulling down the power lines that go to Gaza.
It’s an interesting thing to note that since Israel is now in full on war mobilization mode with bomb shelters readied and the civilians and reserves prepared.. it’s a great time to hit Iran.
Israel has a reserve army that cannot be pulled away from their lives too often or for too long at a time. This means Israel must always take care of business quickly when the reserves are called....so the urge is to take out Gaza, Hez in Lebanon, Egypt and Iran while the IDF is mobilized...perhaps lay some hurt on Syria as well if they act up.
And please, this time ANNEX the northern half of the Sinai!
Bargain away the southern half if you must but never let Egypt close to the current border again.
Now I understand why Zero acts like such a huge dick.
you forgot the new tank transmissions with 6 gears. one for forward five for reverse
We are seeing, yet again, the stupidity of relinquishing control of the Gaza strip to a terrorist organization. Attacks from the West bank are next and then the Golan Heights. Who’s dumb idea was that again?
They are there even if part of Israel. If not part of Israel, they can be killed.
Periodic killing is necessary to control.
TITLE: DOUHET: STILL RELEVANT TODAY
I. Theme: The Italian Giulio Douhet was the first to
envision the true potential of air power. His book, The
Command of the Air, presents an airpower doctrine based on
the premise that armies and navies alone can no longer win
wars.

GOD bless Israel and save America.
LLS
They are firing more advanced rockets. They have anti tank weapons.
Find this Meshal and snuff him.
I know that terrorists infiltrate every part of Israel, but by letting the Gaza Strip go to the Palies and their election of Hamas, the terrorists then are able to build up tunnels and set up rocket launchers in order to attack Israel right at the border. According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaza_Strip:
The Gaza Strip forms part of the Palestinian territories. Since July 2007, following the 2006 Palestinian legislative election and the following the Battle of Gaza, Hamas has functioned as the de facto ruler in the Gaza Strip, forming an alternative Hamas Government in Gaza.
And for the Oslo Accords that essentially made Israel give up their strategic southwestern flank, we can thank:
God, ragheads are stupid.
Go in there and wipe them out, Israel, dear friends. It is the ONLY way their minds can be changed.
Now that’s funny.
It would be nice to see the cockroaches eliminated, but Israelis have more compassion than I.
It’s the lead story on Fox News.
"the Israeli military conducted a new wave of deadly airstrikes on the besieged Palestinian enclave"
They seem to forget the hundreds of missiles being fired out of Gaza into Israel that kicked this whole thing off. but that is not surprizing, the NYT respresents one of the chief progressive/leftist/islamic abetting propoganda ministries in the country.
And the Hamas leader is a blow hard. Notice where he is. He's in Cairo, he sure isn't with his "peeps." He wants Israel to invide because he thinks he will have more luck trying to get Egypt, Iran and ultimately the Saudis to intercede against Israel...that's what he and all of the fundi Islamics really want.
Sharia Law and Fundamental Islam must be eradicated from the Earth
Fox reporter in Israel, (David Lee Miller) just reported, Israel just hit a bank in Gaza!!
Build up in the North
Swing around to both flanks
By land from the East
By sea from the West
Join hands in the South
To cut off supplies
And youre winning the six-hour war
Voila!
I have no airforce of my own. Somehow, I manage to cope.
