Ok, genius, give us all the name of ONE PERSON who is an elected official, a judge, or an expert in immigration law or history who agrees with you?

Of course, nobody who knows what they are talking about agrees with you.

You are wrong. Rubio is a Natural Born Citizen.

"Notice how the left will go full blown now to take Rubio out before he poses a threat to them"

I'm no lefty - I live in Florida & I am NO fan of Rubio.

Don't be fooled that all hispanics will suddenly vote Republican. Rubio is Cuban & a lot of other hispanics will not be as giddy over him as you think.

You are wrong.
Crack Pot birtherism does not control the law in this country.

NOBODY with any authority or knowledge of the law agrees with radical birthers on this issue.

Rubio IS a Natural Born Citizen

“Rubio says his best political friends are Jim DeMint and Jeb Bush. Good choices, I think.”

Rubio wants the blessing of the Bush family. If Jeb really is his friend, Rubio will mellow into a moderate Republican and I'm sure he already wants some form of amnesty to garner the votes of Hispanics in Florida and beyond.

I agree with Jim that more infusion of Hispanics will doom conservatives until the country collapses economically (which it probably will do soon).

"Amnesty will guarantee conservatives wander in the wilderness for another forty years. Twenty-five million new Democrat voters is not what this country needs."

Not necessarily. There is a legitimate compromise condition....it is called "permanent residency". Currently "permanent residency" includes an almost automatic path the citizenship. Change that so that for ILLEGAL immigrants, the citizenship option is eliminated......they will be allowed to stay in the US and work, but NEVER, EVER be allowed to vote.

For minor children brought here illegally by their parents, a similar condition of permanent residency, but with the option to apply for citizenship upon reaching age 21, with the conditions of successfully getting an education (high school diploma minimum) OR serving a term in a branch of the US military and being honorably discharged.

Finally, such legislation MUST close the Mexican/US border, by whatever means necessary.

The above meets any sane notion of "compassion" and fairness.

“Rubio IS a Natural Born Citizen”

I challenge you to source me all of your “intelligent” statements from the beginning of your yammering on these threads.

I will be waiting.

wasn[t implying that all hispanics would fall for him but having travelled our state many times every week for boxing and meeting hispanics all over then not all will fall for him but they are more open to him than some might think and our swing state will go for us even with the fraud .
As one hispanic freeper has just said on here too.

We don;t do what I said about immigration before and how to do it and do something about the lefts rigging of the elections then you can say good bye to us ever winning another election.
Trouble is with our side is that we have too many cowards who want to take the left and the media on and we alwasy react instead of being pro active.

Amnesty is wrong as I came here legally but why not do as I said earlier, you can read that by looking at my other posts on here

Rubio was born in what, '71?

It appears his parents were not naturalized yet at that point.

Intrigued by Rubio BUT be aware Romney trojan-horsed Rubio's Senate staff from Day 1:
"Florida Sen.-elect Marco Rubio announced his top staff, which included three former Romney campaign hands. Sally Canfield, who served as Romney's policy adviser, will be Rubio's legislative director and chief policy adviser; Joe Pounder, who was in charge of rapid response for Romney, will be Rubio's communications director; and Alex Burgos, who directed specialty media for Romney, will serve as director of media affairs for Rubio." -- RCP/Time, Jan. 4, 2011
It's not a dealbreaker but just something to be aware of...

how about our side actually making calls and sending out mail to Gov Scott first and foremost.
Then go after the media and the lefts corruption in this election and future fraud.

Without that then we’re screwed but then again how many will take a minute out and call.

Sayinh we did not get enough votes is nonsense, we were cheated but then again some of us on here said that our side will just fall for the same old tired crap and not look at the elections and results not adding up.

BTW Many hispanics are also white skinned and this is not about hispanics, how about Asians, Africans etc too.

I gurantee that if you went after the Chinese in Boston or the Irish then half the businesses woudl close down

You gonna get bored waiting ... he's going to get re-elected in 2016 and then take Dan Coat's seat in 2017...

The Hispanics will not come running to vote for Rubio, any more than blacks voted for Colonel West.

They'd consider Rubio a "sellout."

But also, there is a cultural chasm that exists. It is far to simplistic to say 'he's Hispanic, he'll attract Hispanic votes.' Look at Rubio -- he is very pale. Take a look at Mexican bureaucrats. They're pale too. In Mexico, the more purely Spanish (hence paler-skinned) people have always held power, and continue to do so. The people crawling over our border are more heavily Indian and mixed. So they'll look at Rubio with the same historical, cultural resentment they have always felt for paler-skinned people.

we lost because we were robbed by a rigged eelction by a Chicago machine which had 4 years to prep.

That is it , not the talking points about how we did not get the votes out, it is they who did not have enough votes and had to make them up.\\\

Excuse me but the burden of proof is on you.

I have told you, honestly and factually, that:

1.) No elected official is on your side.
2.) No Judge in any jurisdiction is on your side
3.) No immigration attorney is on your side
4.) No historian is on your side

It should be fairly easy to prove me wrong, get to work!
Wrap that tinfoil tightly around your head, gulp some more crack pot koolaid and prove me wrong!

You can't, of course, because the crack pot birther nonsense does not hold up.

Rubio is a Natural Born Citizen and only looney-toon nuts disagree.

Rubio is THE guy to take the party mantle. Not because he is Cuban/Latino, but because he has conservatism in his core. It comes naturally. He is a gifted politician. He also is someone the DC establishment would ‘allow’, and that unfortunately is critical. Their undercutting has killed off many a worthwhile candidate.

I was sold on Rubio when I first watched his Senate run on video. He gets media. He built a great political team that beat the sitting FL governor...twice. He announced on a tea party platform before the tea party existed. In my opinion, Rubio has the gut instincts to win the White House.

He also is in a good position to thread the needle on immigration and champion a position that satisfies our base and the need for an immigration reform bill. If he does it right, I am on board.

so what?
It is nowhere required that Rubio’s parents had to be Citizens at the time of his birth.
Rubio is qualified, and no authority at all on the matter disagrees on this point.

Rubio is a natural born citizen because he was born here.

What you speak of doesn’t matter at all.

Your interpretation of what the constitution may or may not say doesn’t matter at all. The only thing that matters is the precedent that exists right now, and that precedent is that if he has a peice of paper forged or unforged that says he was born here, then he is eligible.

That being said, I have no intention of supporting Rubio at all.

Rubio was born in '71. His parents were not naturalized until '75.

The fact is, he is not a natural-born citizen. But in recent years the accepted question has become whether or not you were born on American soil regardless of whether your parents were citizens. The law has gradually been superceded to point that it is ignored. That is the only reason no judge has made a case of it.

He is not a natural born citizen. It is presumable that the law will simply be ignored. But its still the law.
