FORT PIERCE — Circuit Court Judge Larry Schack has denied a motion by Democrat Patrick Murphy to halt the recount of early votes in St. Lucie County.
About 4:15 p.m., the judge made his ruling, saying if Murphy loses because of the recount, he still can contest the results of the election.
Meanwhile, workers in the Supervisor of Elections office on Okeechobee Road continued recounting the early votes for the tight District 18 congressional race.
Early Saturday morning, the Murphy campaign team announced they had filed an preliminary injunction to halt the recount, saying it was not legal.
Schack began the hearing in the early afternoon. The Murphy team won the first round, when Schack ruled against the county's request to quash Murphy's subpoena of Canvassing Board member Judge Kathryn Nelson. Nelson voted against recounting all eight days of early ballots Friday night, but was outvoted by the other two board members.

Well, well, well.
I live in St Johns County, basically GOP except for the town where I live, St Augustine (full of NE liberals), but we had some shenanigans here that were unbelievable. Even in GOP areas, the Dems try to suppress or steal the vote.
So I can’t even imagine what it was like in the St Lucie County (not majority GOP) vote.
She’s probably trying to hide from being prosecuted for fraud. Are the ballots she stowed away in her office, votes for West?
The GOP-e doesn't seem capable of learning this.

Yep. Jesse Jackson Jr has nothing on her. If the vote goes for West, I’m sure she’ll claim some mental deficiency in order not to face jail time.

Maybe after Col West wins, he can lead the charge for the RECOUNT OF THE WHOLE COUNTRY !
It also gives more time to catch electoral malpractice, like protesting and hopefully recalibrating those rigged Obama loving machines.
I must assume that Democrat Patrick Murphy doesn’t want “every vote counted” this time around.......
I don’t know. I just hope West comes out on top when all is said and done. The liberals will be spitting nails if he does.
