At least 304 uncounted ballots appear in St. Lucie County.
From PBP article before the ballots were found:
At least 304 ballots from the early vote totals may be missing, a state elections official said.
A lawyer for St. Lucie Elections Supervisor Gertrude Walker said the missing ballots are believed to be in a box in her office, but she has been out of the office all day.
She has been undergoing tests at the hospital, her lawyer said.
Well, I am really, really praying for Allen West here.
I am already bummed enough that Obama got re-elected by this country...but I swear if this country elected West’s opponent over West, there is no hope at all for America.
West is a man among men.
Gore did it.
our state did not go for obama, there is no way after going around this state .
It is disgusting that our side have just given up instead of fighting this.
you and I live not far away from each other but doesn;t it make you sick how the south east part of our state always makes this state look stupid and they always have to do their corruption.
Thing is that those down in those counties are not even from this state but from up north or Haiti and other places and yet every election time their corruption makes us a laughing stock., maybe time to get rid of those states and let them form their own state
My brother’s wife’s parents are two of those liberals from up north. I’m not sure if they are in West’s district or not as they live @ The Villages, but he is former union from New York and she just looks like a genetic democrat.
Nice people, but you know I don’t really want anything to do with ‘em.
Villages is probably Orange County...Orlando
I watch and love you two trying to make any sense of SOUTH Florida.
Brevard here, and we are a lot better.
Anyone going down to watch the recount tomorrow?
Are you thinking of driving down tomorrow?
“Lets hope the count tomorrow shows the 250 more votes he needs to trigger a recount of all 3 counties. Palm Beach has a lot of weirdness in their counts, too. If his margin of victory there widens- or in Martin, where he won decisively, he could pull this out after all.”
Well the heat is not on in those areas at this time. What do you want to bet- that just in case- that several boxes of “uncounted” ballots are being planted there. Along with all other manner of tricks and doctoring of the books.
I wish I could go.
It used to be that once votes left the chain of custody then they could not be counted. That was for obvious reasons. The Socialists in the democratic party have turned that all on its head. They started it in the 2000 election.
NYC with palm trees!
Yep, that’s where they are, I just looked up the 22nd district and they do not appear to be in it.
I still think of them a liberal locusts though.
My buddy says not to let politics mess up my family, but I really can’t help it ;/
The Villages are located in Marion, Lake and Sumter Counties. This is the heart of redneck country. Had Allen West run in that area he would have won by a landslide.
Sounds like a slam dunk then.
Nothing to see here. Did you hear about Romney dissing Big Bird?
If 299 of Gerty’s 300 office votes are DEM
then would he can her ass.............Ed
A bit too far to come and get you!
If I go, I will add FREE REPUBLIC to my sign in your honor!
For what it’s worth:
St. Lucie will recount early votes in Murphy-West race
snip
During Friday nights meeting, elections staffers wheeled out boxes containing 306 ballots that had not been counted. The ballots were ones in which voters marked at least one write-in candidates and had been segregated from the other ballots.
Meanwhile, West and Murphy broke even in the count of overseas ballots by canvassing boards of all three counties Friday night.
West won 34 overseas votes to Murphys 29 in Palm Beach County, three to Murphys five in Martin and three to Murphys six in St. Lucie.
After their counts of overseas ballots Friday, the Palm Beach and Martin canvassing boards both certified their final votes to the state.
