Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. on Thursday defended the Justice Department’s handling of the investigation that ledDavid H. Petraeus to resign as CIA director, saying that the department was right to keep the inquiry secret from the White House until after last week’s presidential election.
Holder’s first public comments on the controversy came as the CIA opened an internal inquiry of Petraeus’s conduct during his 14-month tenure as director. The move means that there are three active investigations related to a scandal that has scrambled President Obama’s national security team.

Is there anyone who seriously believes that Obama didn’t know about the investigation. As much as I despise Obama, even I believe he knew. Not to have known about an investigation of his CIA director (over information that could have led to blackmail) would be proof that Obama is shockingly incompetent, and unsuited for the office he has usurped. While I already concluded that Obama was completely clueless, I assumed he wasn’t quite as deep over his head as the White House story claims.
These people think we are complete morons, and apparently they are right about 51%.

At the very least there should be a call for him to step down, and Feinstein should be doing the same thing.

Not with this administration. Remember the Holder defense of Fast and Furious, "I was never informed..... what you have a memo addressed to me"? "Well you can't expect me to read every memo that comes across my desk now can you.

Interestingly enough, the comments after this WaPo story are 99% negative toward the WaPo and Obama/Holder. Do only conservatives read and comment, I don’t think so, so that means some of those comments are coming from Dems.

Eric “My People” Holder, supporter of voter suppression and creator of fast and furious. In an honest world he would be in prison for the deaths of two agents and a few dozen Mexicans. Of course in that type of world, he be doing some menial job and never would have been appointed.
