PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections Gertrude Walker said she won't back down if state officials get involved in the still-undeclared race between Allen West and Patrick Murphy, but she might have other visitors now.
A release issued by the Rev. Al Sharpton's National Action Network late Tuesday afternoon indicated that representatives from his local office will speak at a press conference Wednesday "to call for a mechanical and hand re-count of the ballots in ... the West/Murphy race."
The NAN release said it will look into what it calls "charges of voter suppression and intimidation."
Protesters numbered several dozen outside Walker's office on Tuesday. She said at a late-afternoon news conference that she won't budge.
"I welcome them here," she said. "I didn't request them to come. The state can come; I welcome them. " ......

I agree with you. The article makes statements and attributes them to her, but doesn’t quote her saying it.
This is a quote by her that comes close to ‘won’t back down’:
“I am confident that every vote has been counted accurately, that the certified results that the board signed off on Sunday are accurate, and I can stand on that,” Walker said.

Well, it’s settled. Since she committed voter fraud which is a felony, throw the book at her. Let her sit on her fanny in jail for 20 years.

The people outside the election office protesting the supervisor’s actions are West supporters.
