The woman revealed to have been carrying on an affair with former CIA Director David Petraeus lost her driver's license in a Washington, D.C., park recently, sources tell U.S. News.
A Maryland National Capital Park Police spokesman confirmed that a jogger found a North Carolina license in Rock Creek Park belonging to Paula Broadwell. Park Police planned to hold it for 90 days, per policy, and then send it back to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
The Park Police also alerted the FBI, says Bill Kellogg, a spokesman for the Park Police. The FBI did not initially return calls for comment on the report.

When I lived in DC, I jogged in Rock Creek Park. It was next to my neighborhood. It’s a beautiful shady tree park, but a lot of normal joggers and bikers go there. :)
If she was doing business in DC and she exercises, she would likely go there to run.
That's my take. She was an avid runner. You don't want to drive to a park with your purse and leave it in the car. So you take your license, your car keys, and some water with you in the car. That's all. You don't leave anything in your car in D.C. or it will get broken into.
So when she was running, her license fell out. I read that she often runs up to 6 miles, so if she didn't realize until later that she lost it, that would be a lot of ground to retrace to find it.
She probably just reported it missing and went to get a new one.
I have the 17 and 26. I prefer the 26 honestly.
I have put literally tens of thousands of jam free rounds of all types of ammo through my Glocks wo a hitch.

I'm guessing the "Taliban in the building" specifically hunted down our station chief, and this recent Feinstein story was really lame misdirection, a wounded agency trying to convince the world that we are not as wounded and blinded as we are. Remember, we lost a station chief in Afghanistan, too, that time to a double agent.
It could also be someone trying to expose the station chief by telling the world it is one of the people Petreaus met with.
Even weirder what if she works for the FBI and not the DoD after all, in spite of the spiffy resume?
It is beautiful. I stay near it a couple times a year. I always think of Chandra Levy, and picture scenes from movies where to politicos meet to talk off the record.
On an earlier thread about this, there was a statement from her attorney confirming that it is her license.
