Gen. David Petraeus sure loved helping his lady friends.
While he was director of the CIA, Petraeus wrote a letter supporting the child-custody fight of the psychologically unstable twin sister of his close friend Jill Kelley whose bombshell claims of being threatened by his lover led to the top spys resignation last week, sources told The Post.
The four-star generals letter to the court written in the past two months supported a motion to overturn a ruling made nearly a year earlier by a judge who resoundingly denied custody to Kelleys sister, Natalie Khawam, because of serious reservations about her honesty and mental stability, court records show.

This is one stinking kettle of fish from the get-go.
I explained the odd neck tilt on another thread, here:

She would need to be active have dissertation, no? I have not a clue what all this insanity is. Maybe she was a spook and dissertation could apply to that???
All these people are total egomaniacs.
An unpaid social planner assigned to high-level military units overseas.
Really? Unpaid social planner?
A judge ordered Kelley to sell her land holding company’s office building in downtown Tampa after Central Bank brought a foreclosure lawsuit against her and her husband. The Kelleys owed the bank nearly $2.2 million, according to court records.
The couple had an $11,000 judgement brought against them in a case that began in Pennsylvania.
Chase Bank sued the couple for indebtednes, Regions Bank sued the Kelleys for foreclosure and FIA Card Services brought a credit card case against the couple.
Business Insider tried to obtain copies of the various lawsuits but was told by Hillsborough County officials the request could not immediately be granted.

Does anyone know why Paula was wearing a military outfit in the picture Rove tweeted back in June?
She is/was in the Reserves.
That little patch of fur, has brought the mighty and powerful to their end more often than not.
There might be a Holly factor in that letter. Even the best of friends do not know everything. The Petraeus family was only on Tampa about two years. Maybe they left with the illusion the Kelley family was as they appeared. It could have gone like this:
HP:
Dave, Jill called me today. Natalie’s ex is trying to get her son. She wants to know if you might write a letter for the court
DP:
What do they want me to say?
Further (and only speculating) what if that letter was the last nice thing DP did? What if further requests for any help were refused? Maybe a motive for revenge? Not saying that is what happened, only one avenue needing to be explored.
Such a scenario would not change the storyline. It would expose a trump card being held by another party.
Holly was good friends with the two sisters because they were all active in aiding the social life at the Base.
We are going to have to start using a score card with all these people involved.
I don’t watch Homeland so don’t know the reference but here is one synopsis from Facebook:
OK, so Petreus was having an affair with Broadwell, his truly devoted biographer. Kelley was having an affair with another general, Allen (probably). Broadwell aparently knew about it and Kelley was getting closer to Petreus. Noticing this, and probably fearing that she’d lose her man to this femme fatale, Broadwell starts sending harassing emails to Allen.
Allen gets freaked-out and contacts the shirtless-FBI agent, who had apparently, in a plot right out of Homeland, become obsessed with Kelley, and was sending her shirtless photo’s of himself before she ever told him about the harassing emails.
He notified the cyber-crime unti at the FBI who quickly noticed his Carrie-like antics from Homeland and told him to disasscoaite himself from the case. In another Homeland similarity, he continues to work the case on the periphery. even though told not to. Falsly believing the case has stalled, thinking that the FBI may be stalling on purpose to help President Obama, total right-wing nuttery worthy only of FOX (it certainly would have had no implications on the election which was determined by math, demographics and the mobilizing of voters in key swing-states), shirtless FBI agent contacts Eric Cantor’s office, who then callls the head of the FBI with shirtless FBI agent’s concerns.
So there you have it. Petreus is having an affair with Broadwell, Kelley is having an affair (probably) with Allen, Broadwell thinks Kelley is setting her sights on her beau, Petreus, so she harasses her, leading to Kelley turning to previously obsessed shirtless FBI agent for help. Shritless FBI agent gets told to stand down, but he won’t and in his right-wing zealotry, sends message to Republican majority House Leader, Cantor for help, since this is all about Obama (as is everything in too-far-gone right-wing world).
So that’s it. So far. Stay tuned.
And you thought Homeland was nutty.
Correct.
This story means nothing.
Rught. Unpaid social planner. Hanging out around MacDill. Hanging out with CENTCOM big guys.
Since there may soon be an opening for the position of unpaid social planner I think I’ll go over to the gate and ask to go in to apply for the job.
I wonder if I’ll get through the gate? Maybe I’ll wear some baby doll outfits and turn my neck sideways. That may be code for I’m willing to ...
Very possible scenario ... but look at what’s happening !!
We are discussing a letter written by the CIA director to the court on behalf of a woman whose sister received threatening emails from his paramour, tripping off an FBI investigation... an investigation the key players and the White House knew about for weeks if not months.
In the meanwhile all attention is diverted from what happened at the consulate in Benghazi.
Well, she graduated from West Point.
I doubt it.
It could be this is a warning shot to Allen. Play ball or we will take you down in this scandal.
