Andrea Mitchell was willing to peddle the Obama party line regarding the Petraeus matter . . . but Joe Scarborough wasn't buying. On today's Morning Joe, Mitchell dutifully reported that "according to all the officials involved," President Obama was not informed about Petraeus until the Thursday after the election.
Scarborough dropped something of a bombshell, saying he "heard about something like this coming several weeks ago." Said Scarborough emphatically: "don't tell me the White House didn't know. That is not true."

Absolutely! It’s pretty likely that Hussein has blackmail-quality info on everyone with any power. A couple days after the SCOTUS decision, Roberts’ sudden change in vote was pretty much tied to the kids’ adoptions. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a chickie or two in his past.
If either of these guys had any conscience or love of country, they’d man up and tell the truth. Selling your country down the river isn’t what anyone desires for his legacy.

I don't think there is any evidence that Robert's was coerced, just speculation. That said, let's assume it's true. Consider this for a moment: someone comes to you and says "It would be a real shame if this thing with your kids were to come out. It would be embarrassing for you of course but I know you'll be fine if it came out. Still, your wife might go to prison and of course we'd have to take the kids and return them to their native country. For their protection we'd make sure you never see them again, of course. Yes, that would be a shame. Now, can we discuss Obamacare for a minute?"

Apparently, Joe was off his meds today and the truth slipped out.
I trust this is sarcasm. Nevertheless, the two (stories) are intimately entwined. Following the thread of one leads inexorably to the other. If, as many of us suspect, Benghazi was either an utter failure of leadership or another fast-and-furious-type scheme, the fact that one of its central participants was already in a compromised position AND LIED to Congress points to foul play at the highest level. Getting to the bottom of this cesspool ought to be America’s #1 priority.
