Scandal: The filmmaker blamed for the terrorist attack on our Libyan consulate and the murder of our ambassador goes to jail for an "unrelated" matter. If you believe that, you also believe al-Qaida is on its heels.
If the Obama administration had heeded warnings from Ambassador Chris Stevens that, after two previous incidents, the consulate in Benghazi was surrounded by terrorist training camps and couldn't withstand an organized attack, Mark Basseley Youssef might still be a free man today.
If requests for enhanced security had not been repeatedly denied, or if nearby help that was requested and denied three times during the seven-hour attack had arrived, perhaps some, if not all, of the four Americans murdered by terrorists would still be alive.
And Youssef would not have been sentenced to a year in jail by U.S. District Court Judge Christina Snyder the day after the presidential election.
That proverbial midnight knock on the door was a grim reality for Youssef, who previously used the name Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, among others. The man said to be behind the film "Innocence of Muslims" blamed for inciting the Benghazi attack was taken in for "questioning" by no fewer than five Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies at midnight on Sept. 15.
The cover story was that the feds were reviewing the probation of Nakoula, who was convicted of bank fraud in 2009 and placed on supervised probation for five years. He was subsequently charged for probation violations such as having a driver's license with a fake name.
If you believed that, then you also believed the story line spread by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, and others in the Obama administration and campaign.

It’s amazing how fast the wheels of justice can operate when you’re prosecuting a cover up, as this stooge and the Oklahoma bomber found out, meanwhile the Ft. Hood stooter and Giffords shooter have cooled their heels in jail for years.

My, my, Jarrett has been such a busy little bee that I've lost count of all the coinky dinks and Friday news dumps. Sure, he might meet up with some not so friendly folks in prison but who's to say he even made it to prison? If the making of the ridiculous movie (on par with the equally ridiculously low level photoshopped birth certificates) was a set up from the start, then he might be sipping umbrella drinks on some tropical beach right now and we wouldn't be the wiser.
There are certain things that a person on probation is required to do in order to keep out of the jail that he or she would otherwise be in. Still... carrying a fake ID? Wouldn’t you think that this would have been seen by the normal probation officer if he had presented it?
The alacrity with which Obama’s gang jumped on him sure smells like cover up. And they can chuck him in jail right quick but can’t or won’t chuck out an illegale who embezzles from his job as a cashier to give funds to equally illegale parents....
I’ve always thought this “video” was the nut we have to crack to figure out the Benghazi fiasco.
Not to get to tin foiled hat, but....Does anybody else know that “just a guy in the neighborhood” and his disgusting wife had been in Egypt last year, before the “film” came to youtube?
I know we all smell a rat...I’m just wondering if we shouldn’t all be looking at that video as the key.
All I get from my internet search is that Ayers and Dohrn were in Egypt to help those poor widdle Palestinians. Oh, and Cindy Sheehan was in the same group.
There is a word in police work that fits this crap: hinky.

The thing that fails the plausibility test is that it was mighty mild as videos go. Its offense is that it broke a widely held (but not literally universal) Muslim taboo on putting its hallowed figures like Mohammed in art. It was otherwise a faithful if poorly artistic rendition of the Koran story. That’s the size of the “blasphemy.” Someone trolling You Tube or the internet to find a more pointed affront to Islam would have an easy task. Yet this video is the thing that the locally gathered protesters were chanting about when Benghazi was initially attacked.
No, his real scapegoat and foil got found poking his head where it shouldn’t be and he won’t have classified clearance to properly address any questions posed to him by Congress.

I just have a problem with how this guy was scooped up and thrown in jail. Did 60 Minutes interview him? Anybody? Why?
Something smells, in regard to Benghazi and it all starts with the “offensive” video.
I'm still trying to figure out how it started the riot in Cairo...that the Cairo Embassy then sent out the apology msg...which Romney then stuck his neck out on.
Anybody here know more details about HOW and when this vid got the attention of the permanently outraged in Cairo? I've seen rumors that the youtube vid only had a few hundred hits before “we” heard about the protests.
Help a brother out....something about this vid is really troubling me. I think it's the key.
