Well, that was fast.
Just two days after President Barack Obama won a second term, boosted by more than 70 percent of the Latino vote, some Republicans are striking a new tone on illegal immigration.
Conservative Fox News and radio host Sean Hannity said Thursday that his views on immigration have "evolved."

Hannity better consult with his buddies Rush and Levin because they don’t see it that way and get with the program. Bob Beckel is likely rubbing off on him.
We need to play the ground game and the media game and all the other games. Sitting it out is not an option because Obama will simply go around Congress using executive orders.
Hannity will do anything to sell more books.
NO!!! We just have to pick a candidate who has a core. We do not need another flip flopper. That was Romney Number ONE reason he did not win. Who could trust what he says? Most Romney voters even wondered that. I know when I was in the voter booth voting for him, I thought well hopefully he will do what he says, but there was that doubt that he might not.
I think Rush nailed it;
Give them amnesty all of them let them work play do what ever they want,But;
No voting rights for 25 years.
As he stated there will be zero takers as the main drive is to upset the system and get “Free Stuff” and the inability to vote will not allow that.
And Hannity’s buds Rush and Levin cited an empirical study that shows the RINO assumption are all wrong about Latinos wanting amnesty for illegal immigration, but instead are here for the free stuff from government who spread the wealth around.
Hannity is an idiot if he thinks granting 10-20million new democrat voters, actual citizenship to legally vote for democrats will solve the problems of the Republican party. Both Juan McCain and to a lesser extent Romney spoke about granting some sort of “comprehensive reform” and they lost to a man that didn’t really say anything different.
It’s about outreach and Romney’s campaign didn’t offer any different outreach to the Hispanics. They were too busy trying to convince conservatives that he was conservative enough.
I think were on the same page
Amnesty maybe.Voting rights No,there gos the freebes
How about the GOP tackling Boehner reform? Get a new Speaker of the House.
And we all know how support for amnesty worked out for John McCain!
What we must do is stop letting the left dictate the agenda. Stop fighting the enemy according to their battle plan and develop our own.
I think that Boehner and Hannity need to go away.
A 21 year wait to vote should go with any deal. You want to become a citizen for nothing? You can’t vote for 21 years. This calls the Democrats’ bluff on wanting Hispanics for “humanitarian” reasons.
Hannity is an idiot, period!
Hannity has taken the first step down the slippery slope. Ask Michael Smerconish how that went. Smerk used to be a Conservative voice, came back from a vacation spouting anti-war agenda. Now he’s an MSNBC trained chimp.
all i know is, when individuals, or political parties or countries make improper compromises out of fear, very often, the very thing they fear happens to them !
in this case it is so obvious: the Republicans are fearful about about the political consequences of properly enforcing immigration laws, because they think that the backlash from latino voters will make the demographics impossible to wine.
So they cave in and agree to “immigration reform” and the democrats import a permanent majority of illegal immigrants from the third world.
and the Republicans end up with the very situation they feared, and worse...
The conservatives here in Canada faced a similar issue, and in some ways the demographics are worse, but they hung tough and reduced immigration numbers and tightened up the qualifications, and instead of being punished they have made major inroads into the immigrant communities in the big cities (especially toronto)
