I had hoped that the majority of voters would elect Mitt Romney, but instead of a man of character they chose charisma. They ignored four years of failure and deception. In advertising, they say Sell the sizzle, not the steak. Romney, sadly, lacked sizzle.
Obamas victory was one of a long line of Progressives from Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Jimmy Carter. It was not new, but it will likely do more damage on top of what his predecessors have done. It turned out that there were not enough voters from the faith-based communities. You knowthe kind of people Obama said cling to their religion and guns. There were not enough from a range of population subsets to make a difference.
Like New Yorks Mayor Michael Bloomberg who thought a marathon run through boroughs devastated by Hurricane Sandy was a really good idea, Obama has never had any real sense of how people feel about things that are important to them. Why should he?

Romney received Millions less votes than McCain did in 2008, proving that Sarah Palin did invigorate conservatives with her outspoken conservative viewpoints and proved the media wrong once again.
That’s why they smeared and feared her so much.
This defeatism is such bullcrap.
Romney lost the election by only a few hundred thousand votes in battleground states. Lost the popular vote by a swing of 1.5 million votes. 6 million fewer voters for Romney than McCain. Obama had a decline of 14 million fewer voters since 2008.
Only 1% of the population was responsible for keeping Obama in office. Hardly a rationale for committing suicide.

When elected officials and bureaucracies act outside the law they are simply lawbreakers. When the majority of the people vote in favor of the lawlessness that has greatly manifested itself in the highest offices they have withdrawn their consent to be governed by a constitutional government. By what legitimate basis does the United States of America, as a Constitutional republic, still exist?
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
'The People' no longer support that. They voted in support of lawlessness from the highest office on down. They voted against the rule of law. By referendum we now have a banana republic. The USAINO.
A majority is a majority, however thin the margin. Suicide is probably the wrong word to use here, though. Obama campaigned against America - and won. What will remain of this nation in four, eight, twelve years, nobody can say for sure. It may indeed be too late to preserve it.

Are you aware of any controlling legal authority in areas where voting results are questionable who have the righteous fortitude to apply the law in a manner that rights the wrongs?

The GOPe fielded a liberal and he lost. They kept saying he is the one who is “electable” - have to have Romney ‘cause he is “electable”. He didn’t carry his own state or any state in which he had a house; Ryan didn’t carry his state. Romney wasn’t electable and neither will the next one be electable if he is a liberal. The GOPe seems to be grooming Jeb Bush. I think he will be appearing on TV over and over starting very soon. Maybe he will be running against Hillary. We’re back to the Bushes and Clintons.
The matter of Hussein is separate from voting for a liberal which many conservatives would not do. No one knows the evil Hussein will do next. Hopefully, the conservatives left in congress will make a difference.

Yes and Romney and his staff were the first to start the smears. It may have helped if nominee was not willing to help Obama so HE could run in 4 years. His love of Country came second to his ambitions.

It’s not defeatism it’s the truth. The country voted for Obama regardless of how and why you want to spin it, he won. There was a clear choice, any conservative that stayed on the sidelines is just as guilty and just as responsible for the outcome of the next 4 years. “We can’t afford 4 more years” was not just a political slogan it was a prophecy. It’s over friend America sliced into a nice thick vein on Nov 6th and is now bleeding out in the bathtub of history.
