I'm not a huge supporter of boycotts, but I thought an effort to get the MSM news outlets to not be an extension of the Democrats was to hurt themin the pocketbook. If we generate a list of the advertisers during news programs on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC and/or CBS, then write two sets of letters:
1) letters to the advertisers announcing a complete boycott of all of their products and services, including cancellations of existing relationships BECAUSE OF MEDIA BIAS on the part of the networks.
2) letters to the networks announcing the same thing. If they continue being a mouthpiece for the democrats, their sponsers will not see a nickle of business from conservatives
It would be great for someone or some group to organize this. To be effective, there needs to be a website that lists and targets the sponsors. It does no good for conservative to watch the MSM in order to discover which sponsors to boycott. Also the website should provide a list of non-offending companies as alternatives to the boycotted companies so people will know where to get items they need or want.
Also, there should be a clear objective. Like the return to a semblance of journalistic integrity. It won’t work if it is just seen as revenge for the evil they have done the country.
I’m on board, I cut the cable, haven’t missed it, best thing I ever did, screw Comcast, they own MSNBC, they are in Odumba’s tank too, I now seek out info relative to my interests online.
Somebody will need to let me know which companies to boycott. I have been boycotting the channels (all of them) for over 10 years.
Don’t even miss them at this point.
Needs to do it.
We cannot sit here and blame Romney (1 Man)
and maybe Rove.
We all must be willing to do something.
ayep! that ought to do it! since just about everything we buy is advertised on TV, anda since most of that is on one of the MSM channels, we just won’t be able to purchsase anything!
yup! that ought to learn ‘em!
I suggest starting with one. MSNBC
Put together a list of sponsors.
Boycot
letters to EO’s of each sponsor why
If one falls....
The boycott idea is fine but it will fail because there are too many to boycott. What someone sincerely needs to do is to create a “buy from list” instead. That would be much easier to use. It would be much easier and would probably be easier to follow. While sending letters to boycott companies you can also drop a line to the companies that you are supporting to encourage them to continue their policies.
Here is the problem with your suggestion: None of us hate ourselves enough to watch MSNBC for ANY reason. But if you find someone and post results, I’m in.
How long before we start to see bumper stickers that say:
“Don’t Blame Me, I Voted for Romney”
Research how many brands fall under P&G for instance.
Better yet, we need to start answering the advertising research calls. If they call and we ignore them, they move on to the next one.
We need to answer the market research calls and firmly state that we DO NOT watch MSM TV, and DO NOT read MSM newsprint.
Advertising revenue is based on viewership and circulation. If we can drive those numbers down, we drive down the revenue the media whores can charge. It is the most effective, and possibly only way to starve this beast.
Of course, if it works, the media will simply go to the government for funding. You can call it a bailout if you wish. It would call it a line item as they serve as the government’s propaganda organ.
I can easily boycott them, my cable is canceled.
Absolutely.
Equally important, BOYCOTT GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS.
We did it. And it was the best decision our family ever made.
And THEY CAN’T STOP YOU. Yet.
And yes, I am shouting. Your nation is at stake, as well as your children’s salvation.

Product boycotts typically do not work. I just do not watch any of their programming. That’s the best boycott.
- I think we should also consider a boycott of ever freaking “blue” state on the map (even though I live in one of them)
- I think we should also consider a boycott of every freaking “blue” state on the map (even though I live in one of them)
Write, call and/or email your Congressperson, and ask them to craft legislation requiring that paid TV services (cable, Dish, DirecTV), offer a la carte programming.
No one, and I mean NO ONE, should have to pay for CNN, CNN/HN, MSNBC, Current TV, etc., simply to get the handful of channels they actually want.
I’m going to boycott my Comcast cable internet. Hello??? Hello????
