Vanity: GOP had its chance. Time for the TEA Party in 2016.

The Republican party has put forth candidate after candidate who is a moderate appeaser. How's that been workin' out for ya?

It is time to run a true conservative.

The GOP keeps telling us that we will split the vote and lose if we run a third party candidate. Well, we didn't and we lost anyway.

I'd rather go down fighting, than go down appeasing.

Tea partier Kerry Bentivolio won the seat vacated by Thad McCotter last night. McCotter was well liked among conservatives but he was quite the RINO in many respects.

Apparently a tea partier can win in a moderate district. (50.7/44.4)

ahahhaah A CONSERVATIVE???????????

In a country that just sent a man back to office who raised taxes, raised the debt, raised gas prices, lost jobs, increased welfare and food stamps, and passed a HC bill that is gonna raise insurance premiums up to 35% for some people, is pro amnesty, pro late term tax payer funded abortion, pro gay marriage, and you think a CONSERVATIVE has a chance in this new country we have now?

lmao

okay.

We’re done.

America was given a clear choice yesterday: FREEDOM or FREE STUFF.

Free stuff won and that pretty tells you that the great experiment is over.

Don’t beat yourself up, I was right there with you.

Based on what I was seeing I cannot fathom how Romney lost.

His crowds were on fire. He stayed positive. He looked presidential.

Obama looked angry, petty and defeated. Worse, he looked like he KNEW he was defeated.

Wow.

“It’s not that Romney wasn’t ‘Conservative’ enough. The freeloaders dominate the electorate.” You're right. The "Perfect conservative" only would have got beaten worse. Today's American electorate would not elect Ronald Reagan.

Whatever, whoever.... the GOP is dead by its own hand
.

They are all p*ssies for not standing up against all the leftest bullshit when they had a chance and embracing illegals and more government. This is what they get. They’ve never been on our side. Never. Come to think of it they were doing whatever gave them more power and money. Not so much whimps as selfish.

sad to say the Dems have created themselves a majority of ignorant and dependent people who will continually vote them in. If conservatives don’t start infiltrating and change the education and media in this country we will have a hard time electing even a RINO like Romney.
A less and less moral country full of people who vote for who they see as “likeable” (let me guess why the media even promoted this as a measure of a candidate) this is what we get.

I understand the frustration but going third party means probably 30 or 40 years of Democrat dominance as the Republican Party dies and something replaces it. A “Tea Party” is not going to be competitive overnight. So in most of our lifetimes, abandoning the Republican Party means the country moves sharply to the Left with the hopes that conservatism comes back a few decades from now.

Keep working within the Republican Party and then don’t support them when they nominate someone you don’t like.

The Tea Party is dead. Socialism prevails and Freedom and the Home of the Brave are things for which it stood. My beautiful USA flag is safely stored away, now only a symbol of once greatness now past and the flagpole is empty. The empty flagpole symbolizing the emptiness in my heart. I am not proud of my country nor the principals upon which it now stands. There was a revolution, we saw it, we lived it, and now, defeated, we remain stunned at the outcome. Sheer ignorance and selfishness have destroyed what was the greatest nation in the history of the world. No more false hopes, we have been conquered. We lost.

I am finished with the political process. What will be will be.

I could have written your post...I too am 66 and have been active in the political process for years. I fought hard for our candidates and to what avail? I am giving it up, we conservatives are in the minority. God save our country.

there are still too many people who don’t care enough to go vote. millions and millions of people who were not motivated. if Romney couldn’t even get as many people out to vote as McCain, that’s astounding to me . so it doesn’t matter how fired up people are, if there aren’t enough of them.
quite honestly, I was very unmotivated by Romney until the first debate, but after that he kinda fizzled. He played it too safe.

The GOPe hated Palin but thanks to her, McCain got 5 million more votes than Romney just did. No matter who we pick, SNL and the MSM will ridicule them. Might as well pick a conservative and ignore the jokes.

I’ve voted for two RINOs McCain and Romney. I’ll be dammed if I’ll do it for a third time.
