Of course it is easy to just give up and say “fug id”. We are all disappointed and very worried for the future. Yes, it is true, America will get what she deserves for being so stupid as to put this amature scoundrel back in power. Putin and America's enemies are having orgasms over this stupidity - they can't believe their luck.
It is really August 1939 in the world and trouble is coming. This so called “Commander in Chief” will bumble things again and again until he gets it right but by then, it may be too late.
You and the rest of us must help rebuild the GOP for the next election. The GOP was divided from the beginning and this hurt our cause. We need not to resign from our civic duties, we need to regroup, rethink, rebuild and win in ‘16. By simply casting away your involvement this will only strengthen the Left and the American capitulation to her enemies...please find the British upper lip to deal with this disaster....

Democracy is a bad form of government, but the rest are worse.

Sure, it is easy to give up. That’s what Obama wants and why Obama kicked Winston Churchill’s bust out of the White House.
The last thing he wants are patriots who proclaims “We will never surrender” even in the darkest days of the republic.

We must be like Churchill. We must be willing to fight to the end. There will always be setbacks. But we must never never give up the good fight. Too many brave men have died, too many women have sacrificed their sons.

A communist may occupy the white house but he is not a deity (despite what he thinks). We control the House, some of the courts, and many statehouses. And most importantly a constitution that provides some protection if one can find a decent judge. Hybris has brought down many egotists since ancient Greece, and it will bring down another.

I agree.

They sooner we its bottoms out the sooner it can reset.

I say the GOP also buys votes.

We should offer $500,000 and 1 acre in Manhattan for every vote.

New car for every illegal.

Increase Union government pensions three fold.

I’ll vote straight DNC for the balance of my life.

Don’t give up; just regroup your thoughts. Conservatism and self reliance was not the problem. We had a candidate that could not show enough people what self reliance and conservatism is(he didn’t connect) is vs. the other side just campaigning much better. It’s a terrible waste and such a hard lesson to endure..thanks to the same insiders running the party. They need to bring in younger people with good ideas. If they don’t, only becomes worse through the years. I always thought Obama would win so I am not shocked though sure do dread seeing him and his wife for 4 more years. His disdain for the constitution is hard to endure. One day, his lies/his administration’s corruption will be judged. Just don’t give up..next time..a stronger candidate vs an anybody but candidate.

I can’t blame you. I feel the same way. I am powerless to wake the Sheeple and feel helpless to reverse the national decline. I am overwhelmed with a “why bother, what’s the point” feeling.

With all due respect, I think we got where we are because good men (and women) did nothing for too long! Now, conservative America has awakened to the fact that the socialists mean business and they laid the groundwork of this victory while we were off enjoying life and ignoring politics.
I am 67, and I know if I quit now my grandchildren will suffer needlessly.
I have just begun to fight. Who is with me?

I’m done too. I’m 47 with no kids to worry about leaving a crappy world which is coming anyway.

I can’t turn the tide when it’s going out on me.

My plan is now eat drink and be merry and hopefully get enough cash to check out somewhere away from this coming hellhole that was America.

what’s done is done. The facts are that there are too many people that have bought into the propaganda. A single vote no longer counts, I quit too. It’s not worth saving,

You have read my mind. It seems pointless to vote against vested interests time after time. If you, like me, are sick and tired of this, maybe we need to pay careful attention to the words of our Founding Fathers: “When in the course of human events....”

But, some day perhaps people will wake up. My guess is that it will be too late and things most cherished - civic values long held dear - will be gone forever.

The NEA and Media will assure they never will, now.

In three years, I expect breathless reports, like "Dear Leader made seven holes-in-one today!" "He made the trains" run on time."

Daily reports in the "news" about the latest death tolls from the epidemic of Gun-Owner Typhus".

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.”

“This is the last time I will be voting in a national election. I am in my 60”

At your age you should know the 4 years is not a lot of time.

The American electorate is not blind. As time passes it sees different things. At a given time it probably doesn’t see exactly the same things that you see.
