"It is an imposition on everyone who does not want big government." But that's their point.
They want to force you to do that which you otherwise wouldn't.
They believe in the forced perfectibility of man, because G-d and a fallen man are not part of their cosmology.
So force is their POINT.
See Stalin, Mao, and 100,000,000 murdered for Socialist ideology so far.

It is to support leaving you and everyone else alone to be free of coercion. It leaves you and everyone else alone to be free......sounds better.......

When a liberal posts that we shouldn’t impose our beliefs on them, I respond that I see their beliefs imposed on me every time I see my pay stub deductions.

You don’t understand the upside down worldview of leftists, I see.
You wanting smaller government DOES affect their lives,
because without someone else paying for their choices,
they can’t really have the “freedom” to make those choices.
THIS is how they look at it.

Easy for you to say you racist, sexist, homophobic bigot.
Coke is dog whistle for racism. Pepsi is code word for racism. Chris Matthews says so.
Aside from those minor details, you are spot on...

Except that if you voted for Romney you also are voting for Big Government; just a big and overbearing as Obama’s view, just that it’ll take a little longer to get there. I have never once heard him say “that’s not the government’s responsibility” on anything.

Indeed. They won’t listen, they are stubborn and angry and immature.
But it still needs to be said. Do whatever you like, just leave me out of it, including my wallet . . . and my freedom.

Attention Obama voters. If you like Pepsi and I like Coke, that's matter of taste. That's something we can agree to disagree on. If you want big government and I don't, that's not something we can agree to disagree on. You voting for big government affects me and many other non-consenting people. It is an imposition on everyone who does not want big government. On the other hand, me wanting less government is not an imposition on you. It is to support leaving you and everyone else alone to be free of coercion. See the difference? One of the dumbest things I've read in awhile.

Dump your liberal friends. Unless they dump you first for expressing your point of view. I only have liberal ex-friends. There isn’t enough oxygen on this planet for both points of view.

My own Fakebook posts leading to, among other things, Thomas Sowell’s books, have made no dent. These people are beyond help. They won’t read anything that rationally explains where they and others are coming from.
Today, I recommend Bret Stephens’ article in the morning WSJ. Quote:
“Except Mr. Obama does not operate according to normal standards. Maybe this is a function of being the first black president. Or maybe it’s because he is our first cult-of-personality president. Other presidents typically inspired affection, respect or even love; or, alternatively, disappointment and loathing. But Mr. Obama was the first president since George Washington to inspire something like worship in his own lifetime. He is a religious figure cast in a political role. As with the United States itself, the ordinary rules don’t always apply.”
