This will be a running thread for morning anecdotal observations of voting in Ohio. What are you seeing at the polls?
If you are in a predominantly democrat district, what does the crowd look like in comparioson with 2008 and in past election years?
BTTT
Pickerington, Fairfield county, columbus area verry republican..........no line no wait, a little scary
Voted at 9:30am waited 45 minutes. Located in Montgomery county, (Kettering). Good sign for Romney with the heavy turnout.
Both my wife and I waited approx. 45 minutes in VERY red Geauga Co. this AM. I was there at 7:15 AM and there was already a very long line. Go R/R!!!
PLEASE, BTTT!! This is a crucial state and I think folk here from across the country want to keep an eye on it!
So mark it down. Dems claim election fraud @ 11:28 AM in Ohio.
They are setting up the "We was robbed in Ohio AGAIN" meme!
and theres that desperation run we all said would happen....
Surprise! Bidens wheels down in Cleveland for unannounced stop b4 heading to Chicago for Elec. Night.
Worling for local TP in Portage Co. Never seen a turnout like this, people are leaving and coming back later because lines are so long. If I had to judge, I’d say 60 percent are taking our info & thanking us. Portage went to Obama 54/46 in 08. Feeling very confident.

Hinckley, OH, voting was uneventful, nothing resembling a line, but busy. Double checked paper tape against all screen selections—all okay. But lots of ppl coming in and out, so busy.
Got in line at my polling place at 10:40, at 11:45 got to the check in table. Heavy turn out - poll worker say it’s been non-stop since open (Kettering, Southern Montgomery County)
I just returned about 1/2 hour ago from voting. It took me longer to walk there and back than I spent in the place (like my husband said earlier, we live within sighting distance of our polling spot). Anyway, I asked one of the workers how it’s been, and she said busier than usual, but she also said that it was coming in bursts here and there. It was very busy before 9 this morning, and has kind of ebbed and flowed. This is a heavily Republican area—southeast Ohio, Gallia County, bordering W.Virginia.
I am in Stark County OH - about an hour south of Cleveland. It went for Obama in 2008 - but it’s more of a swing county. The area where I live is more R - I had a short wait (just a few people ahead of me). I have never waited at all in previous elections. For some reason another precinct that voted in the same building had a pretty long line - I have never seen that before. Hopefully a good sign.
We are in Lawrence Twp, Stark County, and we drove by on voting station on our way to ours...the parking lot was packed at the one we drove by (10:40 am). There were cars in the lot at ours, we got there at 10:45 and were out at 11:15. Lines were steady, as more people came...did not look like any slack. We are in what I perceive is generally a Republican area, not in the town/city. Pray that turnout in areas of Stark are really good...Stark has been a bellweather for Ohio. Go Romney!
“They are setting up the “We was robbed in Ohio AGAIN” meme!”
Ha, this is in Cuyahoga County...BLUE County Ohio...Dems control everything there, including the voting. Won’t work!
Well, i’m back. I voted at 1000, was #157 and walked right up to the table,voted—Romney/Ryan/Mandel/No on tas levys,
done in less than 10 min.
However. My precint was moved to a church(united church of christ) due to my neighborhood school being rebuilt. It
was combined with other, apparently obamma precints with
long,long lines for them.Seemed chaotic.
The church has an electronic sign as part of their main church sign. Messages included “Rape is not a form of contraception”. I am furious. WTF? Doesn’t change one vote, i’m sure, but damn I loathe these cretins!! Oh, I’n in akron
and i love my house and neighborhood, but i’m getting out.Soon.
